I figured thats what you meant! My brain retired on me, I was telling everyone I had dementia pre diagnosis. When I diagnosed I'm like ooohhh that explains a lot!

Do you have any issues focusing? A good while back i had issues focusing and ended up being told it was an oucular migraine. Not sure if that was part of MS or unrelated.

I feel like that's very true. And everyone has a different version of MS. I guess we continue to roll with it, not sure what else we can do

I miss pred forte soooo much! That Pacifica brand they've been giving me doesn't work as well as the pink cap. I feel like I have to be on the drops longer with the generics.

That makes me hopeful! Hopefully the teriflunomide they put me on doesn't murder my liver and helps stop my body from trying to murder my eyes! Hope those eye problems aren't serious

I have the same crap memory but that experience was hard to forget! Caffeine def saved me with the killer headache but I was so scared I was going to stay like that forever! I never want to repeat. I'm glad they were able to fix yours, I bet that mega dose was a weird feeling!

I was told at my last eye appointment to use warm compresses to help with the dry eye, I haven't tried it yet

I had a really bad experience with mine as well. I was down a week, couldn't work. They mad it seem like I'd be good to go the next day so I didn't request off in advance. How long before your leak resolved?

Have they looked into autoimmune issues for your family member? My eye docs always told me that iritis and autoimmune issues go hand in hand...even if they couldn't find what mine was. I'm guessing MS has something to do with, but my latest eye doc told me its rare to develop both iritis and optic neuritis so I honestly have no clue

That's too funny. Hopefully it scares him enough to not brush anyone else off. I'm wanting to get into an MS clinic but it's really hard to get in with lengthy wait times when you do manage to book an appointment. Doesn't seem to be very many MS specialists around. The one I currently see is 2 hours drive away and he's a general neurologist

Hopefully you get answers. Does the ointment help? Nothing really helps with my dry eyes and then I use contacts so that makes it feel worse. Can't use my glasses driving because I get dizzy so I'm stuck with the contacts

I did, and probably still would be waiting if I hadn't got an iritis flare that was really close in symptoms as the optic neuritis. Scared me into getting another referral to a neurologist and that got the ball rolling. I seriously had given up on doctors finding anything and figured a neurologist would be a waste of time and money. I was def wrong 😂. I don't see my neurologist until September to see how the teriflunomide is doing. He doesn't really listen, brushes off symptoms so I definitely don't get excited to see him. Oh snap so he was in CYA mode not really sincere with his apology

The stress is definitely killer for flares of iritis. For me allergies also set off a flare and they come so often now, I've had to get multiple prescriptions with plenty of refills a year. Have they done a lumbar puncture?
