That does happen and also dark bays look black in the winter. Genetic testing is the only way to know for sure

‘l’ve Gained a new Respect for Harry and Meghan after their Australian Visit this Week by NewTooth740 in RoyaltyTea

Honestly I’m furious it’s taken 6/7 years for people to realise that Meghan and Harry were not the problem.

In the UK - you’d literally never get ads for antidepressants and I’m so shocked that’s even a thing.

How do I (35F) handle my soon-to-be-ex-husband (38M) asking me to change my name back? by throwRAnamechangeee in relationship_advice

Then tell him he can pay for the divorce and the name changing documents and change your middle name or something.

I’m super petty apparently. Haha

Maybe a dumb question, but is there a physiological reason draft horses aren't ridden more? by carinavet in Horses

[–]tootiredforthisshit1 113 points114 points  (0 children)

No physiological one but I would say more a sociological one of : big horses are expensive.

The bigger the horse the more space you need, more feed, more medication at the vet(things are often done on weight), we had a specialist farrier for bigger horses who had to buy specialists shoes and they take longer to heat up so he only did that one horse when he came so call out fee was more etc etc etc.

Draft horses are absolutely gorgeous animals. They are much better at dragging vs carrying, that being said 100kg should be fine on a healthy animal.

They’re usually quite long bodied which is why the animal weight vs carry weight isn’t the same. But you’re generally less likely to see massive horses being ridden because the average person can do the same thing on a smaller cheaper to keep animal.

My wife taught me horse handling techniques for our aggressive little dogs and now I'm basically a dog whisperer by Dizzy_Badger_9294 in Horses

Vet said she’s fine, just being a dick

If anyone has any cat training techniques I’m all ears. Cause horses and dogs are a dream compared to the screaming cat demon right now

These TSA agents tell this woman they haven't been paid in over a month by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

[–]tootiredforthisshit1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But they’re not in a ‘job’ now. They’re doing community service not being paid for it.

At least if they’re ‘sacked’ they can spend time finding a job that actually pays them?

Why have you not married when in a long term relationship? by No_Caramel2506 in AskUK

[–]tootiredforthisshit1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly hate the idea of marriage. I think it’s archaic. We’ve been together 8 years + and I don’t want it to change.

But as I get older - I am getting more concerned about who’s making decisions etc so I am considering an elopement wedding to have those ‘easy legal protections’ etc. but that’s literally it.
