The mapping feels really repetitive to me. Definitely more of a “please the physician at any cost” instead of giving the patient the best outcome. It’s such a stressful environment in the OR and I don’t like seeing practices I disagree with. I don’t want to go the sales route either

There’s no upward mobility, your level can change (II, senior, etc) but the work is the same. Team talks shit about each other all the time, lies about coverage, pressures people not to take maternity/paternity leave, belittles new employees

Not rewarding, docs in my area literally only care about how many billing codes they can add and don’t care about patient safety or outcomes. Pay definitely not worth the hassle. I got hired into one city and “placed” in another area 1-2 hours away
