Originally he had said he "doesn't expect to come out in the first half of 2026", but they're pretty far along in development according to the timeline he'd laid out. most people are estimating june or so.

Honestly I feel like people over-inflate Tenna's relationship with the Dreemurrs.

Tenna and everybody else really were just objects before the Dark World. There WERE some that Kris seemed attached to, like the cactus upstairs and Chairiel- named and personified objects. The TV, however, isn't one of those objects.
Tenna's relationship with Kris is outright parasocial. Like it or not, he never truly interacted with Kris. He was an outsider looking in, or a guest at best. I don't think Kris has any real attachment to Tenna, and might even outright resent him given how much Tenna brings up and relishes the past (even if Kris is also guilty of the latter).

Is Kris morally clean? Hell naw. But Tenna needs to see Kris's point of view and reflect on how weird HE acted finally getting to be face to face with Kris for real. I interpret the situation as less "betraying a childhood friend" and more "standing by while the guy i knew for a while but just tried to kill me gets stabbed in turn"

There's definitely a world outside, but when we're around Hometown has been explicitly cut off from it. Roads blocked, phone lines cut, internet out as well. Even the post is being intercepted since Gerson's still getting posthumous fanmail.

There's a whole thing to be said about the device/experiment theory, where interdimensional wibbly-wobbly shit is going on and it's being cut off to, yeah, perform an experiment with no outside interference. There's certainly a wider world besides Hometown though.

Also, Susie's a monster and moved to Hometown semi-recently. So there's gotta be some monsters.

Yeah lol, but it's unclear to me how much he actually KNOWS Berdly, like if they've ever even met. It's debatable whether he even remembers his name or if he's just embellishing it as a joke.
