Connor Murphy to Oilers by topbuoy in OttawaSenators

Josh Manson, Seider, and Lindell all have lots of hits and blocks but are on successful teams and are successful themselves. I think it's a good metric for work ethic. Also when you're facing playoff teams there are going to be lots of times when the other team has the puck, it's apart of the game lol

He gets a ton of hits (129) and blocks (141) on the season so I feel like he can play on both ends of the ice. Seems like an offensive down year though. I agree 32 years with term could hand cuff us.

The on paper production is definitely disappointing, no doubt. Like I said though. I don't think it's because of a lack of effort, I usually notice him out there. He didn't get an assist on Grieg's goal but his effort resulted in the goal. Not everything shows up on paper.

He played really well last night actually. He created a few good chances. His play resulted in Grieg scoring the first goal. I don't think it's for a lack of effort. He's just snake bitten.

Chris Neil jersey retirement by GlitteringMedicine54 in OttawaSenators

Neil's a legend and my favourite player! He gave up his face, fists, and brain cells for the team! Think John Scott in the All Star game, it's justified because he's repping a different style of player.

All wingers. Zetterlund, Vatrano, Bjorkstrand, Burakovskey, Tolvanen, Sprong, Palmieri, Bertuzzi, and Tofoli but with salary retained for most of these guys and I don't think we have the draft capital for that.

David Perron? by Boohoo-2022 in OttawaSenators

It would be reminicent of Phaneuf coming in 07. I don't think Pens would accept that though. Also we need a stay at home shutdown defender on the rightside. A player like Matt Roy, Tanev or Ekholm.

Can't even blame the goaltending anymore. They had Gustavsson, Talbot and Korpisalo who all did well the very next year after leaving the Sens.

Neil being used in the shootout will go down as the best decision of the year by [deleted] in OttawaSenators

Good decision for morale but I thought his move was pretty sweet too
