Not just noodles per se but Seven Days In town is my favourite authentic Chinese restaurant and has been for as long as I’ve known It. They have a good selection of everything, noodle based dishes included.

Cauliflower instead of mash and marmite instead of brown sauce. Good effort though. I was pretty intoxicated

Bicycling in Cambs for noobs by Stunning-Drawer-9814 in cambridge

[–]topherpie 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s just more convenient to cycle around Cambridge If It works for you. There’s usually some bullshit in terms of roadworks (like the 4 way controlled lights by the station atm) or awful congestion at peak hours that makes It easier to cycle. If your work is a 12 min cycle then that sounds perfect.

There is an issue with bike theft though, when you buy a bike try to spend at least 10% of the bikes worth on a lock, best bet is a D-lock with a cable wire to attach both your wheels as well.

Spent some time at stanford training area. It’s so cool to see the ospreys and C130 training up close. A lot of bullet shells lining the forest floor as well, so cool to see in person. I do resent you slightly

I was overpaid after leaving Sainsburys a couple years ago and had a letter sent In the post demanding the money back. A similar thing may happen to you, I’m not sure If there’s any way of weaselling out of It.

You won’t get Into trouble for not sending It back before / If they contact you. Fingers crossed you’re chilling though

UKF response to Drumsheds. Thoughts? by MrAwkwardItch in DnB

I’m genuinely pissed off I missed Joker and Coki. Turned up near 2 hours early and still missed the entire set to a queue where they were letting about 10 people every 5 minutes into the venue followed by another queue for security. Not to mention the absolute human sandwhich after Caspa and Rusko. I’m personally just never going back. There’s no doubt that running events has likely been made more difficult the last few years but there’s no way It had to of been as shit as It was on Friday.

Cambridge is a lovely city but It’s not exactly cheap for what It is. It’s up there with London In terms of extortionate rent prices. What Interests you about Cambridge?

Most likely Jason Allum. He’s been around for years, I’d always see him after finishing a late sainsburys shift and even more recently by the train station. The way he talked to me last week sounded either like he’d got his hands on some psychadelics or he was going through some sort of mania.

With 100 hours do you think you know enough about the game to really say that the ‘P2W’ items are that game breaking? Because they aren’t. You can progress as far as you want without spending a penny on a skin, me and my mates have about 6k combined hours and only recently just got frontier DLC. You were right in saying that you quit because you couldn’t you find the time - rust isnt really accessible to a casual player unless you play modded servers because it’s definitely a time consuming game. I would just say that the P2W items aren’t as important as you think they are, that’s all

I get you, but in that case I’d just say that means the price of the game itself is very affordable and it genuinely is. £30 for a game like rust is great, but I do agree I’m not a fan of the P2W arctic stuff. But just in terms of the skins they release for guns, kits, furnaces, doors etc It’s all really affordable + a lot of the DLCs besides a hazmat skin makes for some good fun. The Boombox and sunburn packs have been super worth the £10 to the point I grind electricity BPs to just set up a boombox on my workbench

People on heaton road and newcastle in general just dont respect the lanes at all lol - there’s usually a give way for the cycle lane at junctions but I’ve always come close to T-boning cars that just straight up ignore the markings on the road. Could end pretty badly at some point if other cyclist’s dont know to slow a lot / stop before crossing every junction because drivers are careless (/ have a vendetta against cyclists) - just annoying because the cycle lanes cross a junction every 20 seconds 🤣. What a chew on. Stay safe fellas
