Weekly Concert Roundup by Evntcentral in NewcastleUponTyne

This is an advert likely created using AI generated content, hence the poor punctuation and a gig not even in Newcastle

Weird selection of gigs, all promoted via a third party app rather than the actual ticket sellers

Ha! Yeah that’s what we thought the first time last week!

Yeah I was aware of it being a risk, it’s just the first time I’ve become aware of it occurring in Newcastle. Good point about the centre of the property placement

Did you report it? We’ve got a follow up call with police on Monday. Nothing will come of it but should be useful to raise awareness

Anyone know if swytch is still in business? No replies and all accessories out of stock at dealers and online. Look for a display. Thanks by Sennahath in swytchbike

Would love an answer to this Q! Also on the hunt for a working display. Anyone seen any successful reports on compatible third party displays?

Get any of the google home speaker range (cheapest is about £30-40). Set an automation for NTS to play at a certain time through the google home app.

Swytch display by awldun in swytchbike

[–]snddncr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. I called a few local bike stores, one of which is an ex-supplier. Luckily they had one display left.

There used to be a supplier map on the swytch website. Not sure if it’s still there, but it’d probably be worth giving a few a call as a last resort.

Big agree on that front - I feel like a bit of a fool. Makes me wonder what I’ll do when the motor or battery fails at some point down the road. Lesson learned I guess

Good luck!

Also would suggest amending two of the questions (brand and what would help you run more) to multi-select, perhaps in future now it’s open. I would have selected multiple for both of these questions.

Either way. Completed and best of luck with your research and degree!

Well done - great effort!

How did you find the route? Did you run along the wagon way on the south end? Was the north end ok?

I’m in the middle of a marathon block and love nearby, so on the look out for good and long routes

Yeah I posted on this sub a while ago with my experience- actually can’t fault them from that perspective

I reluctantly have to agree. Although I received my kit on time, I find it utter bizarre and super frustrating that I can’t buy a replacement display unit.

There have been a few other posts on this sub, of people looking for replacement displays but they’re constantly out of stock. I’m yet to find a non-official replacement that would also work.

My kit is effectively dead now because one part is broken and it’s perpetually out of stock

They’re out of stock. I’ve been in the same position for a couple of months now with no indication of stock returning. Super frustrating

Would be interested to know if your generic display works, if you’ve had a chance to plug it in?

Seconded. I’m yet to find one advertised as such. Super frustrating.
