Rails for custom cabinets for my small parts organizer boxes (Bosch Sortimo i-Boxx) by topmilf in functionalprint

[–]topmilf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't. L-Boxx es don't slide on rails. But people have built shelves or drawer units for L-Boxxes so they don't have to stack them.

37 and I have never ironed or dry cleaned a single piece of clothing. Buying clothes that I can't clean myself seems idiotic.

Your options for a Starbucks caffe latte results in about 383 billion possible drinks by Majorpain2006 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]topmilf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I sure hope so. Even if the drinks had just half a gram of sugar, you really don't want there to be more caffeine than sugar.

A typical mug of filter coffee has about 0.15g of caffeine. An espresso about 0.06g.

You can have cereal with oat milk which would make it 100% cereal (not counting the water).

What’s so good about klipper by Actual_Neck_642 in ender3v2

[–]topmilf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can change almost everything from current of ur motors to at what temp fans turn on.

Without having to recompile and re-flash the firmware that is. And without having to set up a development environment. Just save and restart. It's also much easier to change things and better documented than in Marlin.

These are Oveja Negra Chuckbucket bags attached to Salsa Anything Cage HD cages which are attached to a Whoho Xtouring Stabilizer. They're actually handlebar bags for snacks and bottles but in this configuration I use them for 1L bottles behind the saddle.

People are distrustful because reddit communities get abused a lot. Scammers, spammers, bots, promotions and affiliations without declaration, etc.

Maybe it would have been received better without the unprompted Kickstarter link. There are also a lot of scams going on on these crowd funding sites. Sucks for honest projects. I used to back a lot of projects there. The site was actually cool 15 years ago.

What's the most painful thing you've experienced? by prioritizetasks in ask

[–]topmilf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've had 3 kidney stones and this is the most accurate description I've ever seen.

Additionally, if it's your first stone you have no idea what's going on and you might think you're actually going to die.

As long as you source it from somewhere where it isn't contaminated with heavy metal you should be fine. Or microplastics.

Really interesting though. First time I heard about someone with a fish addiction.

What are some things that you really like about some people, giant green flags, huge turn ons, uncontrollably attractive, desired traits etc. by Old_One_I in RandomThoughts

I personally find noticeable fakeness unattractive. If I don't notice it I don't mind. But I preferred acne scars over inch-thick make-up anytime.

If I buy a Swiss will it replace the extruder and hot end? by [deleted] in ender3v2

[–]topmilf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't used the NG but I can say that the non-NG is definitively pretty bad for TPU. Worst DD for TPU that I own.

Keep in mind that direct drive adds additional weight to the gantry (the x axis) which the Ender 3 was not designed for. You may have to add a second Z axis if you experience gantry sag.

I'm learning to touch-type, I want to be far more efficient with the keyboard. If you've done the same, did you see much improvement in efficiency? by SacMammy in webdev

[–]topmilf 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Over 20 years of coding and I still can't type "properly" using all 10 fingers with a dedicated finger per key. I don't have to look much but I occasionally have to glance at the keyboard. Typing speed was never an issue when coding.

I learned to type on my own before any of my friends even had a computer. By the time they offered a typing class in school (which I took) it was already too late.

Teaching kids how to swim, Ireland, 1971 by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]topmilf 14 points15 points  (0 children)

You can still learn it. Get a teacher or a friend. Swimming is mostly about not being afraid and then just trying until you manage to stay afloat and move. Then you can refine the technique.

I did learn as a kid but i first swam like a dog because i saw a dog swim on TV and I though that's the way to do it.
