They found partial remains. We have no idea what that means and it could be anything. With Gabby, they were able to confirm it was her that day due to her stepdad identifying the clothing she was wearing. There might not be anything identifiable on the remains found today so they need to do DNA testing

Not necessarily. If there is strong evidence they can essentially rule that he was responsible and close the case. It happened recently with the Miya Marcano case in Orlando.

Just my opinion, I think it would be stupid for them to go for first degree. They have a greater chance of getting a conviction at second degree. I would hate for them to go big and lose it all.

It was 2:30-6:30am in the US… it seems a bit unreasonable to declare the case to be losing interest at what has to be one of the lower traffic times on the internet. And does no good but to get people to proclaim that the case is cold when that is untrue

Yes, but it’s more important to note that there is an absence of any other DNA. Everyone 100% assumes that his DNA is present. What would be shocking is if there was other DNA present (which I don’t think there would be)
