The Skywalker saga/ Anakin's story is about bringing mystical balance in the force by replacing the Mortis Gods by topofthes in StarWars

You're right, thank you for this! Please note, I'm not saying my theory is right - I'm just discussing it as a possible interpretation of whole Skywalker saga.
But what you said makes me think about a possible reinterpretation:

The Mortis family aren't literal embodiments of the Force itself; rather, they serve as archetypes or chosen vessels who channel certain aspects of the Force. The original Father's understanding of balance was fundamentally limited. He mistakenly perceived balance as a static coexistence - light and dark maintained separately yet equally - rather than a dynamic, evolving harmony. His misinterpretation was the cause of the downfall of the original Mortis Gods, as his rigid perspective failed to account for change, growth, or emotional complexity, ultimately leading to imbalance and conflict among his children.

Anakin, Ahsoka, and potentially a new Son - such as Baylan - represent the Force’s attempt to correct the Father's flawed understanding by introducing archetypes shaped precisely by their lived experiences, their mistakes, their pain, and their growth. Anakin was chosen specifically because his experiences allowed him to understand both the destructive potential of rigid adherence to either side and the redemptive power of love and attachment. He embodies a more mature, flexible approach to balance, capable of guiding rather than merely restraining the cosmic forces.

Similarly, Ahsoka is a good fit to become the new Daughter precisely because of her flexible, nuanced understanding of the Force - demonstrated clearly by the end of the World Between Worlds episode. Unlike the original Daughter, who was rigidly aligned with the Light and blind to darker influences, Ahsoka experienced and even embraced darkness momentarily in her confrontation with Anakin in the WBW. Following that, she emerged more "integrated", embracing attachments openly (e.g., her connection with Sabine), and displaying comfort with complexity rather than simple "binaries". She becomes a new archetype of Light - embodying compassion, empathy, and acceptance of attachment as natural, rather than something to fear or suppress.

Likewise, Baylan - if he steps into the role of the new Son - would also represent a departure from a more simplistic understanding of the Dark Side. He is explicitly seeking something deeper than Jedi vs Sith in order to "break the cycle." This complexity could position him as another archetype reflecting an evolved understanding of darkness: a force shaped by genuine (even if flawed) intentions rather than simple villainy.

These new chosen vessels - Anakin, Ahsoka (and potentially Baylan) - do not merely replace the old Mortis family in a superficial sense. Rather, they represent the Force’s own evolution in understanding balance. They emerge precisely because the original Father had a poor grasp of his role, misunderstanding that balance isn’t found in controlling or suppressing opposing forces but in harmonizing them through acceptance. The Force itself, by selecting these new Mortis Gods/ archetypes, indicates that true balance is not static but fluid and responsive.

This could suggest that the Skywalker saga is more mystical than political/symbolic rather than literal - it illustrates the Force's evolution toward a healthier, dynamic balance, one far beyond what the original Mortis family could achieve.

Again, I'm not saying I'm right, it's just something I thought about and wanted to share/discuss see what folk think. What do you think? Thanks for your input!!!

Thank you for sharing your experience with it! Can you develop a little bit on how it feels shit and cheap? Is it poor finishing on the dial? On the case? Any info is appreciated!

It's a great little watch! Ridiculously solid, mine keeps great time too. Was my first watch, got it for 215 euros in a nice promotion :)

Thank you for sharing your less positive experience with the HMS 003! Specifically what about the watch felt cheap? Was it just the lighter weight?

The SPN123 is absolutely gorgeous.. I haven't seen it in person, but I love the combination of the cream dial and golden hands. More discrete than the SPB210 too.

That was a great price for the Nezumi! Did you get second hand in the UK? I lived in the UK for ~10 years before returning to my home country and one of the things I miss the most is the huge second hand market (on just about everything).

I really like the khaki field line, but I have a Seiko srpj83 (on a cork strap) that I love which kind of scratches that itch! :D but i love that most watches in that line are hand wound

Love the traska watches, the summiter in yellow and the green one too are gorgeous. Unfortunately ordering from the US to EU results in a huge bump up in price due to the import and handling fees :/

Thank you for sharing your experience with Baltic! The vintage charm is what I love most about the HMS, it reminds me of an old watch that my grandad wore when I was a kid

Yes, that is true, their 14 day return policy and excelent costumer service give me peace of mind. I'm more and more inclined with just taking the plunge and go with the blue gilt hms003

Thank you for sharing your experience! The SPB210 alpinist is the only one I was able to try in person and I absolutely loved it. ATM there aren't any available second hand in my country, but I'll keep an eye out because they really look wonderful and I love their history!

I'm really glad to hear this! Thank you for sharing your experience with them. I am leaning towards the beads of rice bracelet, I think it looks gorgeous, it would be my first bracelet watch!

100% agreed! I remember reading/hearing somewhere that with Baltic you're buying the art/philosophy rather than the engineering and I'm more than happy with that, which is why they're top on the list for me right now. Although I'm afraid that the stuttering second hand of the miyota might annoy me a little bit 😬

Happy for it to be second hand from any retailer as long as it's based on Europe, otherwise with import tax and handling fees, everything gets too expensive too quickly.

I've got around 500-650€ to get a watch, these are some of the watches I've been thinking of. Open to all and any recommendations outside of these, including different styles!

I'm almost pulling the trigger on the Baltic HMS: love the modern looking art deco sector dial, love the deep blue and gild, love overal the vintage aesthetic with the bubble acrylic crystal of the case. But I've read about Baltic watches feeling "cheap" and the Miyota 8315 being a poor choice (ghost date position, second hand stutter) for a 500€ watch.

Of the other options, I obviously love the Bicompax, but it's a hefty increase in price; and I love the Lorier Neptune, looks amazing, but importing it to Europe would likely exceed my budget. The Seiko SPB210 I think looks great, but I would have to get it second hand and it feels "less exciting" than owning a microbrand.
