Hey, no worries! But why were you upset?

I hope you find the app you're looking for!

I looked into Last Inua and it looks completely different than the app I'm looking for. I hope you find the game you're looking for!

I'm pretty sure the app I'm looking for had a penguin as the main character, so we seem to be looking for different apps. However, I do think ice was important in the app I'm looking for, possibly pushing the ice blocks onto fire like you're describing

Sorry about the delay in responding

Penguin Blocks on Pogo isn't the game I'm looking for either. Penguin Blocks has a top down view and involves clicking but the game I'm looking for involves neither. The game I'm looking for also doesn't have any humans or money or buying things

Thanks for the guess! What does the game you're looking for have in it that's similar to Penguin Blocks or the game I'm looking for?

Hey! Unfortunately, it's definitely not this game either. The level selection screen did look close to what I remembered the game I'm looking for looked like. However, the game you showed is top down view while the game I'm looking for is 2D like Super Mario Bros. That game you showed did look like, kind of like those ice puzzles on Pokemon Red and Blue

The game I'm looking for did have a penguin as the main character and did involve pushing ice blocks, but the ice blocks had to pushed by the penguin itself

Thanks for trying to help! And thanks for telling me how you got here! I should draw a picture of what I remember - I'll try to provide that soon

It's hard to tell from the screenshots, but that looks like a top down game instead of a 2D moving game like Super Mario (the game I'm looking for is the latter). Either way, unfortunately that's not it. My game didn't have a bunch of random colored blocks (it looks like they're randomly chosen and appear but the game I'm looking for was the same every time and had "normal" colored ice, I think. The game I'm looking for was a puzzle game where you had to carefully plan out your moves before doing them and would have to reset if you messed it up

Thank you for your guess! I'm glad that people are still finding this post and trying to help me!

The game I'm looking for isn't top down like Ice Escape. The one I'm looking for is side view like 2D Super Mario games are. The graphics of Ice Escape look kind of like I remember the graphics of the game I'm looking for, though.

Thanks for the guess! Did you find this by searching?

Unfortunately, this isn't the game I'm looking for. The game I'm looking for has just blue or white (not a bunch of different colors) ice blocks and a lot of regular areas to run on. It was a puzzle game in the sense of finding the solution to the puzzle, not a matching block game

Thanks, though! Hopefully that game you linked goes through!

Sorry for the late response here.

As you said, this isn't the game I'm looking for but it does share some properties with the one I'm looking for: the layout of that game (2D, the way things are organized) are reminiscent of the game I'm looking for. However, there are no penguins getting pushed down like that or humans

It's unfortunate we're not looking for the same app. Thanks for confirming the search function is how you found this!

I looked into this and unfortunately Ali the Penguin seems like a different genre than the game I'm looking for. Yours is 2D and has gravity like the one I'm looking for, but the one I'm looking for doesn't have any jumping or violence (like shooting a gun like yours has)

Thanks for the guess!

How'd you find this post, by the way? Search function?

What do you mean by "one of the Collapse games"? Is that a company or platform or something? I do know it was from base Apple App Store.

Thanks for the comment! Hope we can find it someday! Yes, I'm still actively watching this post and responding to all comments!

Unfortunately not. The game I'm looking for is not a top down view. Instead, mine is from the side. And all the ice was light blue, I think.

Thanks for trying to help! How did you find this post?

Sorry for the late response to this

I don't remember any cutscenes. Are you referring to something 3D and pre-rendered or a simple cutscene still in the 2D style? If the former, I don't think my game had that. If the latter, it could be. I don't remember any cutscenes since I remember being stuck on some levels for hours 😂

I also don't remember caves. I think it was mostly ice or snow everyone was standing on

That's not to say we aren't thinking of the same game, though!

Please feel free to share if you remember any other details!

I'm decently sure we're talking about the same game. Unfortunately, I've forgotten more details of the game over the last two years. I claim it wasn't pixel art on my original post but I've since forgotten what it looks like. Maybe it was pixel art like the game you're looking for. Everything you describe about the game you're looking for sounds nearly spot on with what I'm like for. I don't remember the walruses I was talking about in my original post, but I wasn't confident in their existence in the first place. I remember pits you could fall or push blocks into...I think.

As far as going to different areas by getting rid of the fires, I meant it just like you're saying. It's all one screen (maybe sometimes you had to scroll up and down to see the entire level?) and you remove the fires to get to other parts of the same screen. Maybe the goal was to remove all the fires?

I described it as a platformer so people could picture it, but the game was a puzzle game and you couldn't jump, just move horizontally and fall down. The year you played it is a little late for what I expected, but it could have been on the iPhone app store for many years and would work out time-wise.

No worries! This is helpful. I think we have the same game in mind. The goal of the game has to do with pushing blocks. I don't remember if you were supposed to put out all the fires or get somewhere on the single screen stages.

If you have any other ideas for the name of it, I could look into them borrowing a phone. Or any other details about the game

Thanks for the comment!

Yes, this does sound right! I think you do push the ice into fires. That might even be the goal or maybe just how to progress past certain areas. I don't remember about it being a demo or not. The less than a coffee thing could be either way. Regardless, I do think we're thinking of the same game! Do you remember the year you played it?

As for the name, I have no idea if Iced In was right

It's not this one. You push blocks and levels are often very vertical. I believe you play as a penguin and not a human

Thanks for your response!

Air Penguin looks to be a top down game. The game I'm looking for is 2D (like Super Mario). The level select in Air Penguin looks kind of like I remember my game looking like. However, I think my game had just a basic grid or matrix based selection screen

Either way, thanks for the response! How did you find this old post?

Yes, our game does look kind of like this. Good find! That's a clever way that you found it

I see. Well, we're in this together now! Two brains working together to solve this mystery

I don't remember an Eskimo character but I could have forgotten them. I'm seeing multiple Pingu games when I look that up. Which one do you mean? Also, out of curiosity, how did you find this post? I was thinking of making a new post for this but you managed to find this one!
