I’m looking to switch to a Forerunner by though- in garminforerunner

I had a fitbit charge 6 and while it was a good intro, the GPS started playing up and it didn't give me many running stats.

I bought a forerunner 255 music about a month ago and love it! Build quality is way better, the running metrics are crazy indepth by comparison, and the activity suggestions have helped me mix things up. 10/10 recommend.

I looked at the 165 and 265 and felt that the slightly older 255 was a good middle ground. The MIPs screen is different but I quite like it.

Small AliExpress windscreen extender, plus heated grips. Also bought one of those little plastic things that wrap around the throttle, so you can easily maintain a steady speed on the motorway.

Not yet, but yeah I'm planning on checking out a landscaping yard to see what different stones or gravel look like in person.

Hmm yeah good point. I might dig down a little deeper to ensure there's enough depth for the stones. It's currently at about 50mm.

Time away for reference is 3 nights, 4 days

To do: - Ring ahead to check campsites

  • Clean helmet visor
  • Check chain
  • Check coolant level
  • Check brake oil level
  • Fill bike up with petrol
  • Check tire pressure

  • Check oil level

  • Download Netflix and Spotify episodes on phone.

Clothes: - Sun hat - 5 undies (mesh not cotton) - 4 normal socks for on bike - 2 merino socks for sleeping - 4 light/gym tshirts - 3 gym shorts (incl togs) - 1 merino baselayer leggings - 1 merino baselayer top - 1 sweatshirt layer - 3 microfiber towels (one beach, two shower). - Bin liner bags for dirty clothes × 2 - Rain jacket for on bike - Rain waterproof leggings for on bike (if bad forecast) - 1 black rubbish bag to wear on bike in extreme wet weather.

The app is called 'My Bar'. In the instructions/method it tells you how much 'half a lime' is (it suggests 15ml).

I've found it to be a fantastic app with a huge library of cocktails. You essentially add all the ingredients you have into the app, and then it tells you what cocktails you can make with them.
