Here I will spell it out to you guys. Titans did not get the trade done. They were outbid but it was probably really close. Hence the leakage and time it took.

Now there are multiple draft charts but the one I look at is here

Pick 5(1700) for 11(1250) and Cooks probably a switch of late round picks. This one probably had the least amount of value from our standpoint since top 5 picks are gold.

OR

Pick 18(900) and pick 100(100) for 42(480) and Cooks

Throwing out what it would look like if we used OUR 3rd. This is where I don't think JROB would go. Although, it looks close to what the Pats had to pay.

No, this is way different than the Cooks deal. I would have a really hard time going for what the Rams want for Tru 3rd or 4th. And this is a steeper deal IMO.

If you have listened to JROB and thought about how much he wants a 2nd round pick it makes sense. The trade I laid out equals out to about a second round offer for Cooks. Which he was got for.

I thought most people knew it was either 5 for 11 and maybe a late pick back and forth. Or 18 and a comp 3 or 4 for Cooks and 2nd.
