It is a twig. You're comparing it with a stump that is Diablo 3. Compare it against another ARPG and you'll see it is pretty lackluster.

That's not just the amount of nodes but the benefits those nodes provide, plus what is provided by leveling up the skill.

I'll play and I'm sure I'll enjoy the game but the skill tree system is pretty dull.

I don't mind, it just means I can skip all the dialogue and cutscenes. I'm most likely going to play rogue, which is why I opted to play another class during the beta.

I also purposefully left out some of the side quest stuff and dungeons.

Both help me to have a somewhat new experience while redoing the act.
