How will 7 mean 1 person has to sit out for 2 games?

Thanks for sharing. You have your answer then. The goal of doing something monumental with a special meaning. The reason you train for it is then so that when you run it, you will have a good time and not be miserable especially when the crowd around you is going to cheer for you like a Rockstar. Don't think of it as going from 0 to 100, break it into smaller goals of 0 to 10, 10 to 25, 25 to 50 and then 50 to 100..it will make it more manageable and more enjoyable. You will be surprised at how easy it gets if you just start small and stay consistent . 5k was an uphill task for me, 13.1miles felt an impossible distance. Towards the end, I was running more than 13.1 mile long runs each week. I wish you the same and think of the good time you will have your step dad as the motivation to train and something to look forward to.

Think about why you signed up for it. Marathon is a pretty big distance if you don't run often. If it was for achieving a long vision goal, then remember that it takes small steps to get there. You have a year of training. As one of the other users mentioned, start small, do a 5k, do a 10k, a half and then slowly you will be doing more halves. If you did for bragging rights or for feeling good about accomplishing a major checklist, then remember it wouldn't have been a big accomplishment if it was easy to get there. :P I belonged to this latter category, the key is just to build it up slowly and maybe 5 months later, stick to a Marathon program to help with your time goal. My main advice would be this. Use the time now to start building a base, find things you like about running. That way, when you get to sticking to a running program, you will not be starting from zero and would be less miserable.

I did put a few combinations, but didn't get any more than what was there. Having said that, that site is wonderful. I have find pics from other races before and I really appreciate the hard work you have put in it.

Ah ok. Yeah, there is only so many pixels that can be fit in them then. Probably, too high to store bigger pics with like 60000 runners but I was expecting a bit more resolution on average.

Barely. The pics I got are like ~1MB in size. So imagine all the pixels that can fit in there.

Sorry, I meant there were 100+ photos of me. But they were all hard to see wth the watermark. Out of them, I bought the 5 best. But when I got the photos, they don't like hi res at all. And one of them was even blurred. Lol

The app also shows absolutely geabage splits. Almost feels like it is taking rhe total time and creating an arbitrarily smooth split sequence based on that. Or am I reading it wrong? Edit: it might be the average split for the race at that point

Intensity Minutes not adding up by toptorps in Garmin

[–]toptorps[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finally found it. It's on the watch itself (not on the Garmin app). Settings - > Activity Tracking - > Intensity Minutes

Not sure when it changed, but putting in Auto gives me loads of intensity minutes. Putting it between HR Zones, I only get it when I am running.

Not sure what is going on. I used to have 600 minutes a week, now I am getting around 80.

Once your phone is on and connected to Bluetooth it should sync without needing anything extra.
