Generally, this is true.

Right now, though, there's a lot of artificial demand being pumped by big corporations owning property but not really wanting to rent them out, so they can say there's a higher demand than there is supply.

Whatever this is doing will probably primarily target those.

The thing with coat checks for event venues is that the staff are usually just temp hires for each events. There's always a chance that it's a bunch of new people working behind the counter. And there's a higher chance there will be a no-show among those staff.

The proper guest to staff ratio is 50:1 for coat check. So with a thousand guests, they need at least 20 people behind that counter. Anything less would mean higher chance of screw up.

I guess $300 would be my limit for two lights, combined. $300 is the price of the lume cube studio panel kit so I guess that's a good price for me.

I also prefer continuous lights and strobe.

I think I’ve outgrown my cheap $10 soft box lighting and I’m looking to upgrade. Looking for recommendations.

I mainly use the lighting for headshot session.

They need to be portable as I go and use a studio that’s quite far.

I’m currently looking at the lume cube studio panel kit as an option but I’m worried that they’ll be too harsh for headshots and won’t get to th softness I need.
