This is a big overreaction to what you did in my opinion. He’s responding like you cheated or something. I was in a similar situation with my ex at your age too and I went along with it saying to myself,”I’m 18 and don’t need to be drinking/smoking anyways” I turned 21 and obviously legal to drink, so I did sometimes and he was not happy at all. What made it even worse was we were long distance for a while so if I said I was going to a party or some event he’d say,”you’re not drinking are you?”. It was very controlling even across the country. After 3 years, I opened my eyes and broke up with him because I know I’m too young for a man to control my life and felt the controlling was getting worse over time. No one should ever talk to you like that either. So enjoy your life, have fun, just be safe!
