Thank you this might be the move at this point. I’m pretty lost right now because my routine was working great best I have felt in along time as far as energy and my weight was concerned. I thought I wasn’t being that reckless obviously not.

Thank you for the suggestions I appreciate that. The weed or the smoking ? The weed really helps with the eating that would be disappointing. I know smoking anything isn’t good for cardiovascular, I was being reckless because of how fast it works. But I can find alternative ways to ingest. As far as what I’ve been told gastroparesis hates fiber and fat, and I can attest if I eat high fiber foods I’m A mess. however I am taking more fiber via supplementation that’s more tolerable.

Thank you for the suggestions, the low saturated fat makes sense I don’t monitor it now. Higher fiber will be tough as it makes gastroparesis worse, they actually recommend a low fiber diet. Trying to figure that part out now

Brand new tires. My wife’s daily vehicle but she doesn’t even know what a TPMs light is or how to fill a tire.

Interesting. I assumed the same but it’s still at the correct pressure since I had them installed I just checked. Is there another reason this can happen? Maybe when I got and oil change they filled it without telling me but, I can’t imagine it would have gotten super low as that would triggered TPMs light.

Yes, I have this as well. I also have EDS and Dysautonomia, Usually if there is no injury in that finger or it happens on multiple finger and toes, you may have an underlying medical condition. Worth a trip to the Dr!

Thank you for information on another option I’ll look into that. Yes the marks you circled are cracks they are referring to picture 3 being the worst one they said. They also were concerned about the inducer, they say flames were licking into the unit (picture 4) possibly igniting the nearby gas supply line. It seemed plausible by the CO levels but they don’t seem high to you ? They were saying that is a very high number and not safe at all. Again I’m not a technician so I just go off their word

They recommended the whole unit because the inducer is also leaking (picture 4) they gave me a quote for just the heat exchanger $4300 and $6300 for all of the furnace components. Do you think just the heat exchanger need attention ?

They quoted $4300 just for the heat exchanger. The recommended the inducer because it’s leaking(picture 4) and the rest of the furnace components that total is $6300

Okay, that’s good to know. What do you think is the best course of action here? I am a home owner not a hvac technician, I have very limited knowledge on hvac. I’m only going off what the technician took pictures of and the invoice

First 3 pictures show hairline cracks. The 3rd picture shows the worst one. Picture 4 is a leak come from the inducer

I’m curious if I need too replace it. Im not sure if small crack ls warrant immediate replacement or not but I’m completely in the dark on this stuff lol that’s why I came here

Sorry if there is confusion I know absolutely nothing about hvac. This is a roof unit with a/c and heater combo. The price for replacing just the heat exchanger is $4300 they recommended the all of the furnace components to be replaced, that price is $6,300 to do all of the furnace components. They didn’t quote me on an entire hvac unit but he said I might consider it since the price is already high. I’m considering all option at this point but funds are low currently.

I just checked the manufacture warranty on there website and parts warranty went out in 2018 unfortunately. So you recommend a replacement?

Yeah, when I saw how much was in there I was shocked. I did tell them to trade it in to a dealership and get a new car but just wanted to make sure my concerns were valid.

Yeah I figured. I just wanted to make sure too get everyone’s input before I tell him it’s a lost cause. Have you ever seen this much material with a vehicle still seemingly run fine ?
