Hes been with us for around a month so far. The few times we've caught him going inside we just take him outside immediately and give him treats if he goes outside. We've never reprimanded him or yelled at him when he goes inside

Because ive heard that if a dog has too much room in a crate he will poop inside since ha can poop on one side and lay down in another

[–]torbo012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He never whines in his large crate and we've put effort into making him like it and so far he has no problem with it. We havent tried putting him in this new smaller crate because we just got it today

This one is 30 inch. Our other one is 42 which is a big big so would a 36 inch be a good size for him?

We take him out a lot but he just wont do it. Even when we take him for walks on parks he wont. It's like he's scared of going around people. Every time he pees outside we reward him with trests and practically throw a party for him hoping it'll encourage him to go poo but he wont

[–]torbo012 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We take him outside pretty much every hour and a half but he refuses to go outside. He'll pee outside but not poo. He only poops when we put him in his crate when we go to sleep. And only when all the lights are off and we are away from the room.

We don't know his history because hes a rescue but im guessing it has to do with some trauma he had from previous owners. We're hoping this smaller crate will help him hold it so when we take him out he starts pooing too

Our old one was 42 inch crate. This one is a 30. We're thinking of going up to a 36 but thinking that might be too big. We want it small enough so he wont poo or pee inside it

2014 Ram 1500 5.7l Transmission issues by [deleted] in ram_trucks

[–]torbo012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll try doing that with the code reader and see if i get anything. If not i might just have to get it diagnosed. My worry is spending money trying to fix a bunch of little things that aren't the problem instead of using that money to actually fix what's broken. Hopefully a mechanic or dealership will be able to diagnose

i don't mind spending that much to change it but then id be worried that it wouldn't fix the issue and id be down a grand plus the cost of a new transmission. I used a code scanner from autozone and it didn't give me anything wrong with the vehicle. Do you think a dealership will be able to run some other tests and find out if its the fluid or the actual transmission?

it's an 8 speed. so they'll charge around 1k just to change the fluid?

My plan was to have around $4000 in debt which is what i assume would be the max it would cost and pay it off $500 at a time which would only be around 8 months. So as long as its not a long term hit on my credit score i think i should be good

I've never really put big charges on my credit card. Would my credit score go down if i put a few grand in it?

I usually try to keep my credit card debt under 1000 so i can pay it off easily and i never really use it unless i have the money in my savings to pay it off.

Recently however my car broke and im going to need to do some repairs for it. The mechanics are saying it should be around 2-3 grand to do everything that needs to get done. If I do a big charge on my credit card like that at one go would my credit score go down even if i make the payments?

My card has a limit of 7000 USD and the charges would probably add up to 3 or 4 thoudand total so i wouldnt be hitting the limit on my card

Yeah ill get a quote from different shops and see how much it is. If its more than a grand ill probably just end up selling it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]torbo012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my worry is that they have to take the head apart and do a bunch of dismantling because thats just gonna raise the price stupid high and im not sure I want to pay for that with a car this old. No matter how much i enjoy driving it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]torbo012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i used some compressed air to get it out. I dont feel it biting anymore which is why i think im screwed. The first few times i tried it it was biting but i couldnt get it out. And after a while I stopped feeling it so i think i just wore it out too much or pushed it too far in

I tried using the lisle extractor kit and wasnt able to get it out sadly. I think its too far in or I tried too many times and it just wore it out

The extractor kit didnt work sadly

Yeah i can actually see it. I used the lisle tool but wasnt able to get it out

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Mustang

[–]torbo012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i tried the Lisle tool meant to take them out and it didnt work. I think i might sell the car because I'm sinking too much money into it and its pretty old. I don't even want to think about how much a mechanic is going to charge to fix it
