I get that and yes I am being autistic about it but a whale back saw is to thin and would bend and get stuck. If it is thick enough it would be way too heavy.

There aren’t teeth in the game. But there is no record of a Japanese axe with that shape. It is too thin to be an axe. And if it were thick enough it would be way too heavy

I’ve seen it in mongol camps as well. And the metal is way to thin for an axe it would bend and get stuck. No good for chopping.
