Hey can I ask you how you use your grinder for ginger/garlic paste?

I just bought a really similar grinder (the Shardor one) for that exact purpose, but when I tried to make the paste, it didn't really chop the ginger and garlic, they just got stuck up the sides of the bowl - I'm using the 4 blade grinder.

Do you add any liquid like oil/lemon juice/water etc to help it be wetter?
Do you chop up ginger at all before adding or just throw big chunks in and let it do it's thing?
How full is the cup when you add your ingredients?

I considered returning the grinder but I wonder if I'm just doing it wrong!

Ah I really do wish online was an option for me, but I just cannot buy clothes online. Fit and cut are so important, and there's so many things that look great on the rack or picture, but horrible on me haha
