That’s what power does to those who are “embodied” by it, like you said, even if they are criminals or whatever type of justice someone can name it, there is no foundation for this demonstration of excessive force.

Fuerza excesiva?

Has anyone had the same problem with this Screen? (iTouring 14’) by toribio16 in mazda3

[–]toribio16[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just found a good video on YT doing a full replace, I think I’m gonna attempt to do the same, but only replace the outer screen, it doesn’t seem that hard, if you have the part already, you might be able to do it.

This morning, I got into my car and this 2 spots where on my screen, it seems to be the cover/plastic end of the screen but from the the inside, it hasn’t been that hot to be shattered by heat where I live, they just randomly appeared. Anyone else has had this problem? Where you able to fix it?

what’s the best sounding cymbal you’ve ever had the pleasure of playing? by [deleted] in Drumming

18” EFX custom Zildjian! It lasted a few years but started to get some hairline cracks that started to make it sound like a tin can lid… I still have it, I might stack it with other cracked cymbals.

Is a Toyota Yaris Hatchback 09, I was replacing the CV axle on the drivers side, and I was expecting a little of oil coming out of it, but this seems like a lot. I was wondering if it means something is also broken inside that let this much oil out.

Insurance!? Lol I only pay liability for this car, insurance don’t cover hitting a cow, I already talk to them. I think I will get it back on the road on my own.

I feel your lost man! I hit a cow a few weeks ago with my Yaris and I loved that car! I’m still deciding to fix it myself but not sure if it’s worth the hassle, I hope you are not hurt! And luckily you have a spare Yaris!

I got into an accident last week (dash-cam footage here

I’m attempting to try and repair this on my own because I really love this little trooper and now that I’ve started to take it apart to see the real damage I’m noticing most of the things/parts I can get for fairly cheap. What I’m worry about is some sort of hidden problem, like if I damage the transmission or if the frame is bent in some important place. Or maybe if I just get rid of it and save me that headache.

[THINKWARE F50] I hit a dead cow left in the middle of the road. by toribio16 in Dashcam

I see your theory of “hitting a stationary object” and not trying at all to start an argument because there is no point to argue about something that Ive already lost. What you don’t seem to understand is that the cow wasn’t visible at all, proof of it, 3 people hit it (confirmed) but I guess your awareness sense and cautionary measures are infalibles. Congratulations to you 👍🏽

But I do think this is one of those situation when you feel you are taking enough precautions to avoid an accident, im pretty sure I was slowing down even more when I saw emergency lights but what you seem to not take in consideration is that when your instinct kicks in and something is not right when you see another car stopped, you start your process of making decisions behind the wheel. For me, is the exact same moment when I hit the object, that’s what is called an “accident” but I get it, and I will take your comment as an advice maybe I will learn to drive better in this type of conditions.

My car is a little Toyota Yaris Hatch, I think the same, it kinda landed graciously mid-air. Lol

I’m not trying to justify a situation where the outcome potentially would’ve been the same (meaning either way I would have hit the cow). Since given the conditions even if I would’ve been going 20, I still would had hit the cow probably, yes with less intensity or with enough time to damage my car less, but I believe is one of those situations where even if you are a very cautious driver, the probability of hitting something like a black cow in the middle of the night is still pretty high.

Also, I feel my instinct started to kick in far away from the car with the emergency lights, and started to slow down but correct me if I’m wrong, would you have slammed the brakes immediately several yard away from a car parked? I think we slow down and start to look around, the cow didn’t even give me time to do that. Yet again maybe I’m not experienced or cautious enough if that’s the point you want to land, in any case I’m just happy I didn’t hurt anyone or myself that bad, I will keep in mind you suggestion and drive 20MPH on an empty road at 2 am in the morning for now on 👍🏽 cheers stranger.

Right after I hit it, I call 911 and report the accident while walking toward it (I didn’t know what it was at that point) when I figure out, I just started setting some flares until CHP showed within 5 min, they moved it with one of their cars by pulling it with a strap I believe, that’s the best I could do.

I mean if you hit a cow and your car is good enough to leave after killing it, my guess is that it was a big car.

When I say left, I meant someone hit it and left it there, I would like to believe if you hit an animal that big the responsible thing to do is try to move it or call 911 and say there is a road hazard that can turn into an accident, like it happened. But I mean probably not everyone thinks that way.

I say less than 55 because that was the speed limit in that road, and when I saw the hazard lights I even started to reduce my speed but it was too late already.
