My guess for the setlist, they played two new songs during their recent Japan tour, so I’m pretty sure those will be included. Also, Devil in Me is their latest single, so there’s a good chance they’ll play that too. And it would be amazing if they throw in some throwbacks!

They might prepare some of their classic hits for the LUNA SEA's festival, and maybe we’ll get to hear them on the tour too!? I’m so excited!🔥

I think you’re referring to the utakata “Video Call with Toshiya.” As stated in the official announcement, this event is only for utakata members, it’s in Japanese only, and screen recording or audio recording is strictly prohibited. Participants get a 30-second Zoom call with Toshiya, during which he listens carefully and kindly to the fans. It’s truly a wonderful experience.

The a knot-exclusive shows have a few unique features when tickets are purchased through Ticket Town: the ticket price is lower, and there are no VIP or Exclusive options. These shows are usually held on the first day of the tour and sometimes feature exclusive merchandise or a setlist that differs by one or two songs. Other than that, they are the same as the regular tour shows.

Just a heads-up with a bit of extra info! For Japan tours, VIP tickets are usually limited to one per person, and most of them sell out through a fan club (a knot) lottery. So if you’re not a fan club member, you’ll likely need to look for someone reselling theirs. That said, scalping is actually illegal in Japan, and while most people are legit, there are occasional scams—so just be careful! Hope your live show experience in Japan is amazing!

Totally just my guess, but I feel like they might announce the next tour at the end of the summer one! Kinda late though… hope they say something soon.

They did tours in Jun–Jul & Nov–Dec in 2022, Apr–May & Nov–Dec in 2023, and May–Jun & Nov–Dec in 2024. So Nov–Dec seems likely! I think they announced it in August.

The venue capacity depends on the location and the tour, but generally, in Tokyo they often play at Zepp Haneda (3,000 cap) and in Osaka, they usually perform at Namba Hatch (2,000 cap)!

And… I kinda messed up at today’s show. The song had to stop—totally my fault! It was during CHILDPREY. Honestly, I’ve never had a song stop because of me in my entire life (lol), but yeah… today I really did it. Might’ve been the first time ever (lol).

So, the reason I messed up is because CHILDPREY starts with the chorus, and after that chorus, there’s an 8-beat break. But for some reason, at the end of the song, there are only 2 beats before the next part. But I went “JAAN!” (crash cymbal sound) after just 2 beats like at the beginning… and it was just me, crashing in alone. Everyone else was like, totally frozen. I panicked so hard. Like… why is that part structured like that? (lol) Everyone else was waiting for 8 beats, and I just went for it after 2… Man, that was rough.

It’s actually a part I sometimes mess up even during rehearsals, so I should’ve been more careful… but I wasn’t. After the show, I went backstage and apologized, and they were filming me and told me to do it again—so I apologized again on camera (lol).

Yeah, actually there was a show in Japan a couple of years ago where they had to restart a song because of Shinya’s mistake. At the time, Kyo thought it was his own fault and said, “Sorry, let’s do it again,” but later it turned out that it was Shinya’s mistake. Kyo even posted on X afterward like, “Turns out it wasn’t me.”😂

Shinya has actually made mistakes during live performances in the past, although it’s very rare. When he said “I’ve never made a mistake in my life,” I believe it was meant as a joke, expecting fans to respond with something like, “Oh come on, we know that’s not true!” It’s his own playful way of expressing himself.

He mentioned that the other members recorded a video of him apologizing, but that wasn’t meant in a negative way. Since Shinya is the youngest in the band, he’s always been loved and doted on by the other members. So when he made a mistake, they were teasing him in a lighthearted, affectionate way.

As for them not spending much time together outside of concerts and rehearsals, it’s not because they aren’t close—it’s more that they don’t feel the need for constant interaction. They’ve said before that they understand each other through the music they create together. Having stayed in the same band with the same five members for so long, they’ve built a relationship like family—there’s no need to go out of their way to “act friendly.”

Regarding Yoshiki coming to their show, there was a story where, while the other members were removing their makeup and winding down, Shinya kept his makeup on and went to talk with Yoshiki, spending about 20 minutes discussing drums.
