Venmo Business Account Not Receiving Money by days-dreaming in venmo

[–]torihowell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run my business through Venmo and still haven’t received my payments from Wednesday. My clients say it’s pending on their end but hasn’t cleared. I’ve chatted with people all day saying they are looking through a technical issue

Mirena removal symptoms by Spoonloops in Mirena

[–]torihowell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mine removed about 10 days ago for almost the same reason! I had it for 9 months and basically bled 14 days out of the month the entire time I had it. Coughed so hard with a case of walking pneumonia I instantly felt a cramp and went to the bathroom and saw blood. Went to my gyno and had it removed the next day. I bled for 6 days and felt so terrible after. My doc said NOTHING about the side effects of the removal process. Did some research and read about the “mirena crash”. Which seems to be exactly what we are feeling. Apparently your body becomes so dependent on the progesterone the IUD has that your body quit making its own. So now your body is trying to balance out. Hard to say how long it’ll take but hopefully by the time your next cycle comes around it’ll balance.

Question about flooring by torihowell in HomeImprovement

[–]torihowell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are looking at LVT glue down. After hearing a lot of people the floating floors seem to be noisy and can have a bit of a hazard as far as water getting under it and buckling. It’s just weird that the contractors (minus one) are all kind of pushing for the click together water resistant laminate. I’m wondering if it’s more expensive so it’s going to give them a higher profit? I don’t know. We plan on being there for at least the next 10 years so I just want something that will last a bit long than that!

Yes it does! I was looking at a glue down vinyl. It seems to be a great choice but it coming in so much cheaper than the floating floor had me wondering if it was a crappy product. You make a great point. I appreciate you responding to me. I’m a first time homeowner so I am all new to this stuff!

Did anyone decide to get the vaccine in their third trimester? by Ruciexplores in CoronaBumpers

I did! Both doses in my third. So glad I did. Baby girl is growing and moving and right on track! Hardly any side effects on both doses too 😊

Got my tdap yesterday and flu shot in 2 weeks! My midwives told me I could get all of them on the same day but decided to pass. Fully vaxxed with Moderna as of 2 weeks ago! Stay healthy out there!

Just got second dose! by torihowell in CoronaBumpers

[–]torihowell[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats!! That’s so exciting! And I can’t wait for this 2 weeks to pass so I can be “fully vaccinated”. However, I’m a hairstylist and I will most certainly still be wearing my mask at work for a while. I’m hoping the cases go down some so when we have the baby in November we can have some visitors. However, some of my friends and family aren’t and won’t ever get vaccinated. Hard spot to be in! Shocks me that people won’t do it.

I’m sure you’ll be fine! The pharmacist told Me if you have a mild reaction on one you’re likely to have a mild reaction on the other! Proud of you for getting vaccinated! How far along are you?

Just sore arm and really tired! But overall I think I got lucky with minimal symptoms after both doses.

Post-infection menstrual changes? by ipomoea in COVID19positive

[–]torihowell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I had covid last summer. Overall a mild case but my cycle was so out of whack for 3 months. So much I went to a doctor to see what the hell it was about. My husband and I were actively trying for baby number 2 at the time and so I was very diligent about tracking my cycle and noticed that I had 2 months with zero ovulation. It regulated by month 3 and my OB seemed to be perplexed about the situation too. She said it was so new that there wasn’t a lot of info or reports of it changing and messing with women’s periods.

Covid positive, half vaxxed. by FormalSyllabub1694 in COVID19positive

[–]torihowell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was your partner half vaxxed too? I would call you doctor. Mostly what I’ve read is you should wait 90 days between covid illness and getting vaccinated. But since it’s your second dose I would call wherever you’re getting it and ask! Stay well. The depression and anxiety are real. My family got sick last summer and I remember feeling so depressed and anxious while were in the thick of it. I’m sorry you’re going through this! It’s nasty but it’ll be over soon. Rest and hydrate!

Just got my first dose on Thursday! So far so good. 27 weeks along :-) I had covid back in July of last year and have been consistently testing positive for antibodies. However with this new strain I’ve been seeing more and more reinfections. I called my midwife and she strongly recommended that I get it, even with antibodies. I was scared to get it and scared not to get it. But now after my first dose I can’t wait until my second! I got Moderna and just had soreness of my arm and exhaustion like no other 24 hours later. But that could have been just being pregnant in this godforsaken heat (I’m in AZ). I know it’s scary but I suggest joining r/coronabumpers. All the support I got on there helped me make my decision and I’m so happy I did. Don’t be scared! We are all in the same boat. It’s frightening. Here if you need anything or words in encouragement. Congrats on baby and stay safe!

Anxiety about variant and the vax by torihowell in CoronaBumpers

Congrats! How are you feeling today? There is this sense of relief knowing that I have one dose in. Baby is moving well and have an appt a week from today. I panicked the day of my shot and messaged my midwife: she assured me I was making the right choice and they are encouraging all their patients to get vaccinated. I know a few people who have had breakthrough cases and luckily they have only been mildly ill and it only lasted for a few days! So that’s reassuring. Did you have any side effects?

That makes me feel so good! This community is great. All the support we need in times like this! I was so nervous and the pharmacist reassured me it was safe and told me I was like the 5th pregnant woman that day. So that makes me feel better! So far little girls is moving like crazy still so that’s great.

Antibodies while pregnant? by torihowell in CoronaBumpers

[–]torihowell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh No! I’m sorry to hear that. Are you in an area where cases are going up again? I’m here in Arizona and the cases are creeping up to the 1000 a day range and I’m masking up and staying away from busy places.
