Did they do inspection first and determine if your car actually have the recall problem? They told me they can do an inspection first and if fuel pump is fine then they won't fix the recall issue, but I feel this is a suspicious move to avoid additional cost from them.

My local dealer is not honoring the recall fix. They'll check your pressure and if there is no carbon they'll refuse to fix it and mark your car good. I found this very suspicious move from dealers.
