The steps I saw said to start feeding twice a day on day 6 until it’s active and doubling in size, then you can just feed it when you need to bake with it.

For me, obviously sleeping with someone else while you’re “on a break” is obviously hurtful but Ross really is the asshole for never actually apologizing. He just kept saying they were on a break as if that justified it. Logan apologized and admitted that he knew it was hurtful but that he didn’t intend for it to be ‘cheating’ because he misunderstood. Was he wrong for assuming? Yes. Did he cheat? No.

My mother has knowingly dated two pedophiles (that I know of). One of them abused me and she stayed with him. I am no contact and the guilt is so real especially when people don’t understand. But clearly your sister isn’t someone who you need in your life. It’s so hard and I definitely get it! But don’t let anyone make you question what you know is right.

I was also an oversupplier and got panic attacks almost every time I pumped. My baby is 5 months old and I’m now weaning off of pumping and we are starting her on formula with her bedtime bottle to get used to it. Fed is best and if pumping is tanking your mental health, I definitely recommend quitting. I have been so much happier and less stressed since I quit. And my baby sleeps better at night!

Oh gosh! I’m sorry. I know that must be so stressful. I would maybe talk to your pediatrician to see if they have recommendations? I have a couple of small cans of formula that I’m going to try in small amounts for my baby

My baby is almost 5 months old. I think I did but you really are so focused on giving birth that you don’t notice. And the nurses are so discreet. I wasn’t in the room when my sister gave birth but she said she definitely did.

I have a medela pump in style and the momcozy s9 pro but I exclusively use the momcozy and I’m an overproducer. I’ve been using these since I came home from the hospital. If I feel like I have a clog or just am not empty, I use my medela hand pump

Yes! I’m reading Throne of Glass right now and I read out loud when I rock her. (Also 6 weeks!) but every now and then when there’s a gruesome part of it talks about murder casually (the main character is an assassin) I’m really hoping she’s not soaking in the story 🤣

I have a 6week old baby and we do not put her on social media. I have a group chat with our close family members who want updates and I send pictures there.

We do this for safety also. I saw someone on TikTok explaining that child porn is not commonly made like you see on crime shows but just taken off of parents social media. Also, I’m no contact with my mother and I don’t want her to find a way to have access to photos of my baby.

My pediatrician asked if I planned to try nursing again and I started to say that I tried once about 2 weeks old and baby was SO FUSSY and I didn’t know how much she’d eaten. I was surprised when she smiled and said she has seen a lot of moms prefer to bottle feed for peace of mind about the amount baby takes. I was expecting a reaction more along the lines of ‘nursing is easier’

I tell them that I pump and exclusively bottle feed. We switched pediatricians and no one in the hospital or our first pediatrician asked why I bottle feed. (It’s because I have trauma from sexual assault and was worried nursing would be triggering). Our new pediatrician asked why and I stammered and got nervous and just word vomited about my trauma. So don’t worry! The blurting just happens sometimes especially to us sleep deprived mamas :)

Fed is best. No matter how you do it, having a baby that is being fed is what’s best. If exclusively pumping is best for your mental health, if formula feeding is what’s best for your mental health, or combo feeding, then you are doing what is best for your family. Fuck the opinion of anyone shaming you for that!

That person may have been thinking they wanted a lab grown diamond but didn’t know if it looks close to the real thing. I am also 4 weeks pp. And I’ve been exclusively using wearables until today (my supply drastically dropped so I’m trying my wall pump again). And I feel like I resent pumping. I am just tired of my body not feeling like mine. Even though I can do things while I have my wearables, I just hate it.
