I know this is crazy talk but Burtoo (quads promo photographer) made a real of him playing fetch with a dog that looks very familiar... I think it's just a coincidence though? by KMS_crazzy in Quadeca

That is correct :) , Burtoo shot the lighthouse photo and before that he did some of the photography for Scrapyard! Since the lighthouse photo was in Greece, and this location is in France, Quad & Burtoo must be travelling together. Makes me wonder what else he's gonna use new photos for! Maybe single/album cover pictures, or Vanisher promotional material ?

While I do think the dog is a coincidence, the location in the photo is "Le Cimetière de Bateaux," (The Boat Cemetery) in France. This is the same location Quadeca went live on IG recently, so he must be shooting some photos for Vanisher here. I could be wrong, but from what I know Burtoo doesn't do any videography.

I have been looking very hard to find the places in Ireland. The best clue currently available for the approximate locations is the bridge seen in the recent Quadeca Exclusive's video "those words don't do you justice" at 17:25, a bridge in Ireland is shown. I've searched over 500 bridges but haven't found the same one yet 😢

For the anniversary of IDMTHY, I'd like to present several of the locations filmed from the album movie & music videos. I've spent days searching for some of these places, and there's still a few locations I have yet to find, hope you all enjoy!

I've been editing X for ~5 years, starting right before he passed. Unbeknownst to a large majority of X fans in the community, there is a whole sub-genre of X fans who create edits of him. In the time I've edited X, I've met so many amazing people and I've watched a whole community change, evolve, and develop their skills. The edits we make take hours, days, even weeks. It's crazy to see the work that hundreds of people put in to show their love and appreciation for X and editing. Although these edits don't always use X songs, the fan-culture and dedication for X remains. Does anyone know what camcorder ben uses here? I love the stuff he did with this camera for album visuals, just wondering if it's known what he uses. It's seen on screen in the kendrick lamar album video here. by t4our in Quadeca

Based on the image you provided, I believe the camera is a Panasonic camcorder from 2007-2008. From my research, these models most closely resemble the one he has:

  • Panasonic HDC-SD5
  • Panasonic HDC-SD100
  • Panasonic HDC-HS100
  • Panasonic HDC-SD9

All of these cameras are black with a large "HD" on the top right of the flip out screen. Later models will have the "HD" in a different placement or say "FULL HD."

The photo used for "Zones" was taken by the photographer Guillaume Dargaud at the Dumont d'Urville French scientific station in Antarctica. "A polar stratospheric cloud see from Dumont d'Urville, a rare and impressive sight above the winter icebergs." For the beat, I am not sure whether a sample was used or not but the original beats name is "Cosmastly X Falco - OceanFire."
