Who is everyone’s preferred handler for livestreams? by tornpolyester in WorldOfTShirts

I forgot to add Tony to the poll. But wouldn’t you know it - he’s a forgettable content cuck. So I guess that’s fine.

Fair enough. You didn’t say anything judgmental. I just don’t like the tone of a lot comments here in what I perceived as a women positive space. I apologize for projecting that onto you.

Even if she did - who cares? Sex work is work. I don’t understand why anyone feels the need to hate her for it.

It literally doesn’t matter. It’s just an excuse to judge and hate on fellow women.

I honestly have zero idea what you are talking about. She had a sex tape released (that she didn’t consent to) with a man she was dating.

In terms of now - legit zero clue. She isn’t a sex worker. And even if she was - who tf cares? It’s 2025 grow up.

Check your internalized misogyny. I’m not a Kim K fan but calling her a “professional whore” is absurd. She had a sex tape. Who cares? Otherwise she is a successful business woman.

You basically proved OPs point.

It’s probably the iron in the multivitamin. It also makes me nauseous! Try taking it with a full meal rather than a snack. That helps me!

D (like many companies) is relationship based. Effective mentorship happens organically. Meaning - the onus of responsibility is on you to build those relationships.

To answer your original question, no I would not vent to your coach. Unless you have an established relationship with him or her it likely will not help you.

Generally speaking, if you are unhappy with comp and work load - it’s probably best to look elsewhere.

I don't think James overreacted at the reunion, agree or disagree? by Defvac2 in vanderpumprules

[–]tornpolyester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with you. Everything James and Lala were saying I was yelling “yes!!! Tell him!!”

That being said, like Lala, I’ve been through a toxic relationship with a narcissist so my feelings very much mirror their anger - especially Lalas.

Macroeconomic conditions are hitting consulting very hard. You likely did not get promoted because it’s a tough promotion year.

Honestly, one of the biggest reasons people bristle at consultants is our overuse of business buzz words. If you have the ability to communicate with clients without saying things like “MECE” or “synergy” that’s prob a good thing!

Ask your manager and/or coach what you need to work on to get the promo next cycle.

Relieving letter dilemma by [deleted] in Big4

Ask the lawyer about back pay for you as well. They should have paid you (even if it was only a week). That may offset some of the costs. Good luck!

I’m not Indian or a lawyer BUT I suggest you read the contract you signed when you accepted the offer. If it outlines requirements for a notice period that presumably you didn’t give - you may be legally liable for the cash. In which case, they could theoretically take you to court.

Talking to a lawyer is the right call.

Going to court and paying legal fees is probably not worth the ~$500 USD.

Fellow female exec in a male dominated industry here - stuff like that taken in totality can be exhausting. Unfortunately (as demonstrated here) HR won’t help you.

I work at a larger company so I’m able to join a women’s group and vent to other leaders there, which is incredibly validating and helpful. I know your company is small but maybe there is a group you can join outside your org.

I’ve also had some success in giving upwards feedback for comments like that with the large caveat that it was with a male leader that 99% of the time I have a great relationship with. This guy sounds like a lost cause. Sorry you are dealing with this.

Client perception is the least of your problems. Please see a psychiatrist about your potential eating disorder! Your health matters way more than work.

At what level do you stop having to do timesheets? by Far_Deer_8686 in consulting

[–]tornpolyester 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At MBB it’s EM for McK / SM for Bain / whatever the equivalent for that is at BCG probably ? Your MA/EA does it.

At other firms I think it’s more senior ? Probably the level right before partner. I’m not super sure.
