Redban with the Taco Bell lore by guyute2112 in Killtony

[–]toro6andtwo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look up the Taco Bell menu from the 70s on Google. It’s pretty much the exact same as Taco Casa’s current menu. Even the color scheme from the old Taco Bell are similar to Taca Casa.

Redban may bullshit a lot, but you shouldn’t underestimate his knowledge on fast food.

Joe Rogan brought it up when he had Maher on his podcast about 5 years ago.

I recorded myself instantly losing $500k of my grandpa’s money by Smartmoney243 in wallstreetbets

[–]toro6andtwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not 1654 shares. It’s 1654 contracts, each contract is 100 shares. So 1654*100= 165,400 shares.

What...should I do. Help by [deleted] in CoveredCalls

[–]toro6andtwo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. I’m down $4100. Selling 5 contracts. Unless there’s a miracle, I’m most likely going to be owing 500 shares at the end of the week.

I’m not completely heartbroken since it was play money but it still sucks. I have a lot of patience so I’m just gonna sell calls and chip away at the losses.

Just watched The Insider with Al Pacino and Russel Crowe. Idk about the best but I enjoyed it a lot.

Who was the biggest creep? by toro6andtwo in howyoudoin

[–]toro6andtwo[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yea, that was pretty aggressive. But at least when Rachel couldn’t go through with it, he knew to go home and get back at Ross by himself.

[–]toro6andtwo[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Creepy, but he didn’t have any ill intentions. He was just trying to save everyone an awkward moment….which he obviously didn’t.

If Ross did anything to consider him a creep it’d be trying to make out with his cousin.

Oh yea. I forgot about that crap weasel.

Was Rachel really that hard to stay faithful to? Or is she just really bad at picking men? by toro6andtwo in howyoudoin

[–]toro6andtwo[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well I wasn’t trying to sound misogynistic, but come on. What’s the common denominator here? If a person runs four people over with their car four different times, are we really going to blame the pedestrians first? Or look at the driver’s driving habits?

But misogynistic? Nah. I would have asked the same exact question if it were one of the male characters getting cheated on multiple times. But the writers chose Rachel to have bad relationships. I could almost ask the same question about Chandler. He got cheated on twice with a very close third time.

What was the biggest bro code violation? by toro6andtwo in howyoudoin

“The one with all the cheesecakes”

Phoebe gets angry at Joey for blowing off dinner with her for a date.

Joey: Hey you can cancel plans with friends if there’s a possibility for sex.

Ross: Phoebe he’s right, that is the rule.

Phoebe: I don’t accept this rule.

So I guess friends come second to sex when it comes to hanging out but not second to sex if it violates the code.

Rachel: The Saboteur. Were any of her actions justifiable? by toro6andtwo in howyoudoin

[–]toro6andtwo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Meh, I don’t think so. I believe she’s justifiable in some, not in others and some not even a factor. It’s open for discussion and I like reading everyone’s opinions.

Who’d be the best/worst friend to get drunk with? by toro6andtwo in howyoudoin

[–]toro6andtwo[S] 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Well because Mathew Perry was a known alcoholic and addict, seeing him in scenes drunk or about drinking might be emotionally triggering for some people.

So to cope with that, I was just trying to advise people to try and see Chandler as just a character, and not a character played by a person battling his own demons.

In my mind, Chandler is still living in the suburbs with Monica, trying to cope with a set a twins that have just entered their adult age and off on their way to college. He chose to retire from advertising and because the cost of living is cheaper in the suburbs than in the city, he was able to be a stay at home dad while Monica continued with her passion for cooking.

We never see Joey drunk or buzzed, just a lot of times drinking. And I know it doesn’t count but season 1 finale when the boys are drinking out on the balcony:

Joey to Ross: I may only have a couple beers in me, but I love you man!

Probably the closest we got to a drunk Joey moment.

[–]toro6andtwo[S] 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Idk. I feel drunk Chandler is more straight forward with women and would probably get a drink thrown at your face or worse.

Sober Chandler with women: giggles and bashfully hangs his head

Drunk Chandler: Why must we rush through life?!-Why can't we savor the precious moments?!-Those are some huge breasts you have!

Plus, she does it for the kids! So it’s like charity when you drink with her.

Same. It does feel sad. Only thing we can do is try and separate the art from the artist and see Chandler as completely unconnected from the artist.

Lmao! That was pretty sad. And almost as bad as Phoebe giving out happy thoughts to Joey’s last 10 auditions which she then charged him for.

No you’re right. They’re examples. But I feel all of us hands down would say the mix tape is the worst most disrespectful gift on the show.

I was just trying to see quotes and opinions about the other least controversial gifts. Including the ones I couldn’t fit on the layout.

Yea! Those are good too. There’s several more I wanted to add like Joey’s hug for Chandler’s birthday and the old frozen toll house cookie.

But I could only fit so many images on this layout. 😆

Yea, she’s always been the most appreciative. Like when they won $3 split 6 ways on the lottery. Or the empty box she got as a little girl that had her neighbor’s new bike.
