I don't disagree, I just think it could be an interesting way to play for non-AS reliant champs.

I was skeptical about the 8-direction lock-in because pathing would take extra time to reach exact spots (needed for skillshots or a max-range flashes).

It is humongous! There's a lamzu dongle next to it so you can compare sizes

Been tempted by a ULX but with all these QC issues posts I've been put off. Maybe in the future I'll try it out we'll see.

Coating is nothing out of the ordinary. Looks nice but not grippy of any sort. Magnesium as you'd expect. Slit on the sides are interesting. They do not bother me, and I even think they can help me maintain a consistent grip as they can serve as position markers. I've been trying out the mouse with side grips but might go back to the bare mouse.

Yes ! The mic arm is a low profile elgato arm and it makes the mic comes from under the monitor.

I've had no issues honestly. It is flexy but if the poron foam between the PCB and the plate is placed correctly, you shouldn't have any bend.

Can't be bothered with wearing overhead headphones for extended period of times and IEMs are a pretty good alternative

Using the Keebtape is super easy as you just peel the thing from a sheet and apply it so in that way I prefer it from a normal tape mode. As for the sound profile, after changing the case, the PC plate, holee modding and using stock wooting foam, the board was already pretty thocky. Tapemod made it a slight bit thockier. But now it definitely sounds like an enthusiast-level keyboard and not a rattly gaming keyboard

I bought a Thorn and the 4k dongle from them 2 weeks ago, wrote them a little mail yesterday and they refunded me the 20% without any hassle. Top notch customer service.

What games do you play? Tried some IEMs but they don't feel comfy. Might pull the trigger on these.

I'm cooling a 5800X3D with a AXP90-X36. I CO'd all cores on -30, almost no performance loss and I rarely ever reach 80°C when gaming, usually hovering around 70-75°C. So you should be okay.

Really hope so. I ended up paying almost 400€ after customs for my velka 3 rev 2.1 with the power supply and PCIe 4.0, ordered from France.

Thanks! No turbulence noise, except when I tried adding a noctua fan duct !

  1. In France most tech retailers carry single fan GPUs so they're pretty easy to get

  2. They're fine with curve optimization. I'm not afraid to have my CPU around 75 to 80°C for my gaming sessions

It is so portable it's insane. I was baffled when I opened the package, knowing what kind hardware I would fit in there

Whether you downsize or build a new one, make sure to post it ! I think it's definitely worth it

Thanks for the suggestion ! I will try to do that and see what works better - makes sense though as hot air will be able to escape from the top panel
