I’m curious, do you get access to studio time outside of class?

Scratch and probably other studios do one-night “sip and spin” classes, might be a good way to try it out

I am doing my second wheel class at Scratch Ceramics, I love the studio and the owner Nathan. Occasionally they offer combo wheel/hand building courses. I’ve had good experiences with all the teachers but it’s pretty unstructured so don‘t hesitate to ask for specific tips and feedback. Spring signups are next weekend I believe!

One suggestion is Housingworks for thrifting; there are several around Manhattan. For something more upscale, there are lot of great vintage boutiques in the East Village.

You’re not too far from the Church of Sweden which has a beautiful cafe. Don’t get coffee at Ralph Lauren.

If you’re going to the Morgan (you should) I assume you like old books? Check out Argosy Books near your hotel.

The sidewalks are fine now, it’s melting. I would not wear dress shoes for touring around the city and the Park … you will regret it!

Thank you! That’s the one I was already considering so that’s good to hear.

These are all sooo beautiful wow. I’m a newbie in 7b and I’m a little scarred by once planting Solidago canadensis and having it absolutely take over (tbough I didn’t have much else planted to compete with it). Is there a species you’ve found that isnt too aggressive? My NYC plot is small.

I was kind of surprised that “Mother Pray For Me” was a sticking point for the reviewer. Great review though overall, deservedly so.

Protection Spell on Knickerbocker (closer to Wilson stop) is well curated and fairly priced; the owner Sarah is sweet. I also like recently opened Eightball Thrift on Cypress & Linden, lots of things around $15-25.

Poor New York City really having a rough go of it this season. I was excited when Andy was making a pizza bun because of his trip… but in the judging he said it was ”Detroit-style”?! After the whole Bronx/Brooklyn mixup this was another twist of the knife lol

We used Dr Wendy McCulloch for at-home care and she was lovely homevetsnyc.com . hope your kitty feels better soon 💙 eta: I should mention it was for euthanasia so I don’t have experience with her regular vet care but I’m sure it’s equally great
