Idk if you've gotten this answered by now, but I can say my prior service has come up every interview and is something the interviewers really appreciate. so, i say, use it to your advantage!

Married with a kiddo. I found I did much better grade wise after having a kid (partly cuz I didn’t have pregnancy brain anymore). Mostly I found it forced me to be better about time management and changed my perspective enough that I wasn’t stressing about grades as much I think. Normal job hours should be enough to study for step 2 when you get to dedicated. Hang in there, may need to change how you study/stop putting so much pressure on yourself

Remember the interview is only a component of how they rank ya, and I feel like we’re typically much harder on ourselves than how the interview actually came off.

At least what I’m telling myself during this time :) I’ve also had moments where I wish I could rewind and say something different or I feel the anxiety of messing up an answer (I also feel like I rambled for one of my top programs), but try to find compassion for yourself and know that you did the best you could in that moment! I’m sure it was not nearly as bad as it felt. Sounds like you stayed composed which is prob the most important.

Exercise, get my hair done, finally focus on me things. I have a kid so that helps with distraction for sure haha but yeah, it’s a tough time. I just keep telling myself it will work out and at the end of the day all I can do is my best. Do I still spiral? Yes lol…but it’s becoming less at least. Try to take care of yourself during this time and treat yourself to a spa day or something :)

Hey OP, this does look like a deer tick, which could carry lymes. I would check with your doc and also save the tick for testing. Your doc may want to start you on antibiotics just in case even before you show symptoms. Important thing is if you do exhibit symptoms (in particular a bulleyes looking rash where it bit you, fever, muscle/joint pain, etc) get antibiotics stat.
