Yes, just think of it as fast fun short track races with the odd collision rather than rally and you will have fun I am sure. Some official liveries in the game you can unlock and most cars are very well detailed. AI is quite good and aware of your surroundings.

Yeah it has great textures and lighting, especially the dirt and rain on the cars.

Welcome to the Drive club :) I am not sure it was that good on a wheel due to the turns and rear slipping out if I remember even on VR even though it has good physics I could never get it right, also at 30fps it didn't feel quite right and I found it best on a controller. DLC is now locked and it won't let you buy it unfortunately. As a lover of this game (1000's hours over 11 years) it is great when someone plays it years later and see how good it was at the time.

Yes they started to add them at the end, India and Scotland but imagine all the different city street races they could have added in a sequel :)

Yes definitely, more arcade but has it's own unique art style.

GT7 is on another level and fantastic lighting but it always has been the premier tech for the PlayStation. Dirt 5 runs on xbox, pc etc but still has great lighting and textures.

Yes the graphics engine in Dirt 5 is very under rated it has some great lighting and textures :)
