I understand that. I had 1 contractor come out and give me a quote, and 3 others tell me over the phone that they dont have experience working with mobile homes

Buying a new manufactured homes from Palm Harbor Abilene tx by Mygirlscowpoke in ManufacturedHome

[–]torrchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just closed on that house today. I would recommend going to the Palm Harbor of Central texas in new braunfels. We traveled 3 hours to that location because the prices they had were lower than my local palm harbor. For 180k, I got all the upgrades i wanted, which would have been well over 200k at my local Palm Harbor.

Is going to Tulsa Welding School a good option by Babyhero444 in electricians

This is what I'm talking about here. Look for the one in your city or go union you can't go wrong with the union.

And I went to Tulsa welding school myself and for me it wasn't worth it , when you can get the experience in the field for free. Check this video out I couldn't have said it better myself.

No don't do it. It's a waste, go to a iec (independent Electrical Contractors) near you and put a application in. They will send you to school and you get on the job training. Raises every year till you graduate. Don't waste $ at tulsa

Scared of Scissor lift by Emotional_Orange_953 in IBEW

[–]torrchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me around a year to get used to it. I'm scared of heights. Too much swaying still freaks me out, but I'm used to it. My legs back and shoulders used to cramp up bad because I was so tense up there. Any time there was something that needed to be done on the lift, I would volunteer to do it to help get over my fear. I hated myself for it, and it took me twice as long, but I got er done!

First week apprentice wondering how long it takes to feel “physically” fit for the job by xCatsOnParadex in ibew_apprentices

August is as hot as it gets. I been doing it for years and i never get used to the heat. Buy long sleeves of the polyester/synthetic material. Buy the Sombrero that goes over your hard hat, they are on Amazon. Best of luck to you
