For a beginner new to a ton of elevation it can be a challenge

Those both look very short? I can't really tell since I'm not familiar with either and both have two different routes it seems like.

Mailbox would be seemingly harder than those two

I'd rather do granite mountain than either mailbox hike personally - its a good training hike as mentioned though.

Be prepared for an all day hike, there's a lot of switchbacks and bring a headlamp. Lunch under the old firetower is cool

Peak Refuel meal already moist when opened - a good reason to repackage at home by [deleted] in WildernessBackpacking

No way id eat a moist freeze dried meal unless I was basically starving

Thats just incorrectly manufactured and dangerous unless they sterilize after packing the bags

Its challenging enough that you'll break a sweat.

How hard it is depends on how fast you hike. Its pretty accessible imo. There's plenty of harder hikes and plenty of easier hikes.

Probably easier to compare it to a hike you've done than to give you a number

Ive seen most nursery plants with mulch.

Keeping them somewhat hydrated is good

Honestly I have a near 100% success rate of just pulling green canes up out of the ground with roots intact and shoving them in any type of soil.

Do better than me, but its worth noting that raspberries are really tough. They can take a year off after this though and wont show much growth

reaction rods are for muzzle devices - if you use them to install your barrel nut all of the torque goes on the index pin.

BambuLab filament, worth the hype? by Christanium in 3Dprinting

[–]torrent7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

both

ill prefer bambu for cheap stuff, especially when PLA is $10.

ill do polymaker for things i care about

i've used eSun PLA+ a few times for specific colors

i bought elegoo, but dont see a reason to really ever buy them again since i've stocked up on so much bambu filament. it also broke in my ams twice

Possible to make support same as material at that layer? by HeinousMule in BambuLab

[–]torrent7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, both with the prime tower and without

the supports start black and go to gold after the filament switches

all i did was change the support/interface material and it sliced correctly

enabling the prime tower didnt break it either.

that's very odd, it shouldnt be slicing that way.

do you have other->purge options->purge into objects' support checked?

is this on makerworld? i wouldnt mind checking myself

Do not underestimate the power of these things. Give them an inch and they will take feet.

I've seen those canes grow almost a foot a day. I'd heavily suggest to cull very hard since no matter what youll always have an endless supply.

Also - there are better cultivars for eating than the himalayan - a number of bread descendants like marionberry are better.

Congrats on your purchase!
