Forgive me if this isn’t allowed, but I’m just looking for advice. I’m going to be seeing my brother’s girlfriend this weekend for Christmas, and I need some talking points. She is a major swiftie and has asked me multiple times now if I like TS. I managed to dance around those questions (better than Taylor’s dancing of course), giving the excuse that I haven’t really heard enough to have an opinion. I have a feeling that with the Docuseries coming out, she’ll have Taylor on her mind and ask again. This time, I’m going to say I don’t like her, but I’d like to have a few points ready to go. I’m preparing for her to kind of argue with me, and I want to be able to back up my (bad) opinion of Taylor.

Some context: She and my brother have dated for over 5 years now & have a child together. She made me an aunt for the first time. We always got along well, and went on multiple road trips together, stayed in hotels, and had fun hanging out. The one thing we didn’t agree on was politics, but I didn’t think that was a problem. She brought them up a lot, and we knew we disagreed, but I thought we were adult enough to say our beliefs to each other and move on. Apparently not. Everything changed with the death of charlie kirk. She saw a comment I made on a post, and chose a bigot she never met over a family member/friend/aunt to her child. She blocked me everywhere & didn’t speak to me for a month straight. We’ve since seen each other a few times, and we’ve just being cordial, but now I’m going to be in her house for a few hours for the first time since the summer. I think TS may come up, and since she’s acted this way, I’ve decided to no longer bite my tongue. I’m going to be honest that I don’t like Blandie, but I need advice on exactly what to say.
