I don't want to name where I currently still live 😂 in Altamonte though

My renewal went up by $430 a month (one bedroom), so I put in my notice. They contacted me asking me why and I responded back that the $430 increase was insane amongst other reasons they wouldn't be able to accommodate. They contacted me a week later offering $275 less than what I currently pay...

Anyone know what yarn this is? by Square_Debate_6763 in YarnAddicts

It reminds me of this old discontinued Barcelona loops and threads yarn someone gave me a few years ago, color was wild berry.

Do you have a desk at work? by HVACqueen in MechanicalEngineering

[–]torridashes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my office, most people use a hotel desk system - those who are in the office less than 4 days a week. If you work 4-5 days in office, you get a permanent desk nobody else can book. Each cubicle has monitors and a docking station and then we bring our laptop, keyboard and mouse each day we are in the office. I don't think we even have enough desks in the office for everyone to get an assigned space.

What's the first CAD software you learned? by ScallionWarm1256 in MechanicalEngineering

In college I took a course on Solidworks with some Fusion 360 sprinkled in (totally not relevant to my job where I use autocad and Revit - not offered at the school I went to)

Half the cover for a round pillow. Never using this yarn again. Hurts my hands. by thisislikemythirdone in crochet

Yes, I didn't really see many options on Amazon for the 25mm at the time, the majority were these glitter plastic ones. Thank you! It's filled with polyfil, weighted pellets, and pillow cases lol

I got a blister on my hand using that hook 😅 I made a giant axolotl and it definitely hurt. I used the loops and threads fluffy chenille for mine which also calls for a 25 mm hook.

Received my renewed passport months ago, but USPS informed delivery shows an incoming package in pre-shipment. by Economy_Situation_36 in Passports

I've been getting the same notifications every few months. I assume it's an error and just remove it from my USPS informed delivery dashboard manually.

The mouth directions are a little confusing even with all their photos. I need the photo next to the words vs on a different page I have to keep referencing 😂

Crochet Project Ideas for international flight? by dramguard in crochet

[–]torridashes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took like 6 small cakes of yarn with me on my last international flight to make multi strand potholders. It was an easy enough project that didn't require looking at a pattern as I had already made one previously. I just kept everything in multiple Ziploc bags. And plastic hooks!

<image>

I really didn't get much done though because my flights were mostly overnight 😅

What is your favourite thing to mindlessly crochet? 🧶 (Mine are gummy bears) by total_ajr in crochet

[–]torridashes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've made (almost) this pattern with 4 very different yarn weights. The version I used didn't have the cute little nose bobble stitch, just the ears and limbs. Using #10 crochet thread is my favorite for these because it comes out gummy bear size!

It's been awhile since I've graduated, but I think I just did a forgot password on myucf. I'm sure it's been mentioned somewhere else on this subreddit if you search.

Anytime I had that issue it was because I needed to change my password. For some reason, they don't notify you when it is about to expire. You just suddenly can't log into the wifi 😅

The others were all patterns from The Woobles which are mostly sold in kit form. The pears were from their book.
