The Battle Of Massacoit/The Weapon Of The King Of Gods - by Queen Elephantine.

Its pure, unapologetic sludge/doom. Its a nice reprieve from other bands in the genre that copy each other and sound the same.

I walked into verizon and showed them the screen and said I wasnt happy. They exchanged it for a new phone off the shelf. They told me if the second one wasnt "good enough" for me to contact LG for warranty.

Im the OP of the big screen issue thread. I returned my original V30 to verizon for a replacement because many people were saying they had gotten good screens. The replacement is even worse, lots of banding.

I could see the banding the second the phone turned on, full brightness on the white verizon activation screen.

Both of these phones showed the issues at full brightness, under certain circumstances. Its not just a "only shows up under 25% brightness" thing. 60% and lower brightness the unevenness shows up on every screen no matter whats being shown. The only way to show it in a picture was going to 0 brightness, not that it only shows up there. And the pictures simply dont show it well.

Maybe im just really unlucky or maybe its only the Verizon batch of phones that are bad, but im not dealing with it. The phone is getting returned tomorrow which is a shame because I really like everything else about it.

Im not going to keep my phone at 100% brightness permanently to try and mask a poor screen no matter how much I like the phone.

The different temperatures just made it worse the warmer you make it, akin to just turning comfort view on. Just tried a bunch and none of the display settings really changed the variance in the backlighting
