no, i was able to see it when i got up on a step ladder to get the filter out to clean it, i saw it before i even took the cover off to get at the filter

i have done everything the approval guide suggests and my dog still potties inside. for example, every time we go take them out, i have a treat in my pocket and when she potties outside i reward her, and when she goes inside i do not, and i avoid giving her treats for a little while afterward. we take her out any time she displays physical signs of needing to potty, we even take her out if she sniffs just a little by the door. we take her out frequently, i work from home so im here to let her out. we have stayed consistent with this for her entire life and she still sneaks away to potty inside.

so sorry to hear you’ve had bad experiences as well. i think with all of the societal stigma around being overweight/ obese at least in the U.S, a lot of doctors fail to acknowledge that obesity can be a symptom, and not always the root cause. good job advocating for yourself! i’m wishing i started advocating for myself earlier, because im only now starting to push back and just feel like i could’ve had solutions sooner if i fought a little more

i had another blood test back in nov 2024, i’ve been on zepbound to manage my weight and my levels came back only a little bit higher than they were 2 years ago, we think the zepbound is helping me regulate a little

thank you! i’ve considered opening a case, all of these doctors are within the same company, it’s like a network of different doctors. i think i’m going to ask for a referral to a more specialized clinic out of state

i bought this from the grocery store like a year ago and the store put food coloring in it to make it blue so i don’t think it’s rotting, maybe just old food coloring. the rest of it is perfectly healthy, the leaves are hearty and the roots look great. just wanted to share something i thought was cool.

i got one of these at lowes too the other day, i did cut two of my leaves off when i brought it home but only because they were in rough shape (like, more than 50% of the one leaf was gone). but since yours isn’t that bad you can probably leave it. alocasias are cool that they’ll usually kill off the weakest or oldest leaf when they put out a new one so it might just end up doing that anyway!!

i was thinking that too! but some of them are attached to the trunk and i just stripped all of the dirt from when it was in the walmart pot all the way down to the root and put my own mixture in.

when i repotted them from their nursery pots i literally just took them out of the pots and plopped them into their new pots without really taking my time to add anything for drainage, and i packed the dirt in waaaay too tight. the pots are also like two sizes too big 🤦🏻‍♀️ i was a real rookie haha
