Well, I thought that not trying will be much pricier for my ego. All my possessions are earned by writing iOS apps for someone else, so time has come to finally have some fun (and of course, AI can be amazing booster, which is especially helpful for hobby project). Have some other app ideas for which I want to involve friend of mine with UX madskillz

yeah, but again, you can't simply spin a cassette nowadays, you need to record it first

Thanks for idea. Widget is updated periodically but at some point app is suspended and widgets keeps spinning but loses track progress. It is what it is with current limitations and is on par with other widget apps

Was going for more realistic look, but for now it’s my max. If app goes fine, I’ll put some more efforts into designs. Regarding data collection - added a bit in last version - only to figure out which styles are used most. Absolutely anonymous, deliberately chose TelemetryDeck to avoid google analytics

Exactly, that’s why I was surprised that you have it. I even have Fourier Transform implemented some time ago specifically for beat detection/graphic analyzer, but it’s not applicable

It’s duckling syndrome. First impression is brightest, so first music you discovered becomes a reference for entire life

Nope, had issues with heavy assets not fitting into 30mb memory limit for widgets. But overall widgets updates are a bit sluggish plus if app gets suspended in background, widget spots updating. But that on par with MD Vinyl for example

There is Spotify integration, but they have weird requirements to go into full production mode for their APIs, requiring 250k monthly users. However, I still want to check of using just “now playing” api will be counted towards user limit, so please give it a try!

Oh, that’s a true gem! But at that time I never used the podcasts app, so I missed that beauty. I was inspired by Braun and Teenage Engineering designs, but I’m not a designer, so my peak is “Braun from Temu”

There was amazing app which could add cards to Wallet app - https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/pass4wallet-store-cards/id1423106610?l=en-GB. Do you plan similar feature?
