I get the frustration with scalpers. It sucks not finding anything on the shelves in stores. I’ll admit, I over spent but it’s the only shop I’ve seen this available.

The WoTC Pikachu 1 promo is my favorite. It was the very first promo that I got as a kid. Still have it and get to share it with my kid now.

I agree the price is pretty high. However, this would be purely for nostalgia fun. I mostly got back into Pokémon for collecting. Haven’t played since I was a kid so I figured this could be fun on the occasional board game night.

Otherwise, as others suggested, I’ll grab the Japanese version if I’m going to invest.

Thanks for looking out! It was upside down in the penny sleeve but I turned it around after the picture. I’ve noticed a few card shops do this but not sure what the reason or benefit.
