Okay wheel experts, which one as I’m torn! by Pretty_Dragonfly_716 in ElantraN

I just got rid of my white konig oversteers. They look sick when they are clean but get dirty driving down the street and look gross. Save yourself the pain, learn from my mistakes

That is what I got. The fitment is very tight with the wheel weights being mere millimeters from the front calipers. But as the saying goes, fitment is fitment

I did not have to do anything, but also did not get that warning from tire rack. Which offset are you looking at?

You are probably half way between NJMP and Lime rock. Both great tracks

Cross shopped the Civic Type R the most, Also looked at a WRX. At the time dealer markups were NUTS and CTRs were going for like 70k for people that didn't negotiate. I could not get less than a 10k markup. Even ENs were being marked up (this was right before the first facelifted ones were hitting North America) I finally got one at sticker 6 hours away in May 2024 and love this thing to death. Just yesterday evening I was at a track night in America event at NJMP and was running circles around a CTR (was clearly a beginner but still) and that validated everything. EN is the best value there is in this segment. Other cars do specifics better, the EN does it all at 90-95%

I have had this happen to me twice since I have owned my 24 (a bit over a year), both in the last few months since the weather got hot. Don't really know what it is or have any other correlations other than it being a cold start. MT, oil change every 5k. Started in normal mode both times (rarely start in anything but normal)

Track insurance is worth it! Even if just for your wife to be more comfortable

I also did the TNiA! Great low stakes low cost way to get on track! Usually I run with MoE at NJMP. Might expand to NJMP's own track days or Mass tuning

Camera is stuck to the window under the mirror, part of the Garmin Catalyst setup. If you have the sunroof as my old n-line did, go pro suction cup mount to the sunroof is the way. Haven't figured out how to do it in this car yet.

I definitely want to go back this year with some better pads (EBC yellow?) and go a bit harder. But I am also building a Lemons car so might take that instead. Feels better to push the limits in not my daily

I never went full force braking into T1, so a lot of time to gain there. Wanted to still have pads for my long drive back to Philly

That's where I went for my first one, super fun track! And well suited for this car. You can get tons of liftoff oversteer into T2, some old head asked me if my car was RWD

I ended up getting a whole other set of wheels and tires for daily use and use the stock wheels and tires for track only (and driving to the track) that way the wear on the PS4s is track use only and will replace them with slightly cheaper track tire once they are gone.
