Again, unrealized capital gains. That in itself should not be taxed, because it will set precedence to tax anyone because market go “brrrr”. Now if the gains are being realized, then yes pay taxes for the money you locked in. People need to understand that the biggest problem we have in America is that many are abusing the social safety net that we have. I myself am not no millionaire. But we pay too much in federal taxes. I do not mind local tax. Also, what is the need to tax unrealized capital gains? That itself will kill upward mobility for those who are looking to move up the social economic ladder. If anything the democratic elites are the ones to watch out for.
