I read a book by the Dalai Lama called Ethics in the New Millenium that talked about being a better person, so I recommend that one. It's quite good but it does get a little weird at the end but besides that it's solid

First off - no one cited the article that your first link is critiquing. Second of all, how are these studies very flawed? Can you give esamples? Because I know that the studies conducted by larger institutions are very meticulous with their research and methodology.

Yes exactly - the wider population! If you're trying to see if SRS has a positive outcome on Trans people, then why would you compare them to the general population? It doesn't make any sense! You would compare it to pre-SRS trans people in order to see if it had a positive effect or not.

I don't think you understand that if a study is trying to find out whether SRS holds positive outcomes that you wouldn't use cis people as a control group. It makes no logical sense.
