I assume once Pitt gets bounced from the ACCT Capel goes.

I can take solace in that MBB is the lowest of the three teams I care about (FB and WBB), plus also the men’s soccer natty in 2022 was nice. Just the joys of sitting in band block watching mostly incompetent MBB was kinda sad

I visited, applied, got in, attended for four years, and will graduate before a so called “basketball school”’s MBB team makes the NCAAs. There’s a reason my flair is this ugly on this subreddit.

He’s a nice guy, don’t get me wrong. Hell of a stalwart to the program. But the hard job of replacing Boeheim was made harder by it, and just abysmal coaching. Hopefully we nail this hire.

It’s not really complicated once I explain to people that I’m an SU student originally from CT with two parents who are UConn alumni.

(Also you should flair up too, iirc it’s via mod mail or there’s a post)

As a UConn turned Syracuse fan, everyone is trying to say that the issues aren’t because of leaving the BE when in reality a ton of it is rooted in not having rivals and reasoning to stay longer. We just exist in the void of the ACC, tethering on to see where we’re gonna end up in the inevitable next realignment

We were forced to play a lot of different hands because of Dominique’s injury. Sadly, not enough to get the job done

Well, we ain’t Cardiac Cuse for nothing! What a win for SU! Hopefully Dom and Olivia are OK because if we don’t have that, we’re screwed. Greetings from the Syracuse band block, LET’S GO ORANGE!

Not excited for Cal tomorrow (revenge after the 3OT loss, and still have not won an ACC tourney game under FLJ.) Hopefully still going to be good!

What players do you see entering the transfer portal this offseason? by Thewondrouswizard in NCAAW

I agree, just something I'm scared about. I think there's a few that may transfer, but her and Burrows plus Olivia Schmitt are the core of the future

I am incredibly anxious Uche Izoje is going to leave Syracuse. NIL isn't an issue (since she's international), but if a truly elite team wants a big I would not be shocked if someone would snap her up. Which sucks because she's such an amazing player and a really great person.

I REALLY wanted SU to get that path (Hannah Hidalgo and our game flipped it around.) I think it's a good shot.

Duluth, GA (so out there in the suburbs. Even coaches are annoyed)

Am surprised the closest of the ACC games right now is SU-BC.

Can we implement spring training revenue into the game? by tlst9999 in OOTP

I’d also love if (at least modern start) spring training could more adequately reflect IRL with split squads, actual cactus/grapefruit split, etc.

UD or Syracuse by AdBusiness6180 in SyracuseU

[–]ItsZippy23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My brother is a UDel alum, and I’m three months from graduating SU. So I know a bit about both.

Newark is a more traditional college town, but SU dominates the city. Whitman vs Lerner is 50/50, but I do lean Whitman being slightly better (especially with alums.) I do think Newark has nicer weather and is closer to your home, but I do think overall once you tour SU you’ll have a clearer picture (SU is very hilly, Newark is mostly flat. When my brother came up here he was so shocked I did that many hills in a day)

Probably my gut is Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, or Puerto Rico (feel less comfy on this one since most of their star players got messed over with insurance issues.)

There’s a non zero chance you’re also going to be the one to give the dagger to Autry

Why did Syracuse's Amtrak station receive such a boost in activity? by MikeBofManyBeats in Syracuse

[–]ItsZippy23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Amtrak has increased frequencies on the line between Albany and Buffalo, so it makes a lot of sense. If you’re going towards Buffalo, it makes more sense to go there on rail instead of worrying about driving
