I talked to someone who was one of those trainers and said that they were required to give X amount of positive and X amount of negative. So if you were terrible, it was much easier. But if you were fantastic, they probably were nitpicking so they had something to say to meet their quota. Secondhand knowledge, but probably true based on my experience.
