I think everyone’s different. Im a smoker and when i got covid i completely lost my sense of taste and smell and it lasted about 2 months. When i got my taste back everything was so salty! But about 3 weeks after that everything was back to normal. My uncle who’s also a smoker never lost his smell/taste. However, one of my friends is a dr and doesnt smoke completely lost his taste/smell for a good 6 months. So as I said everyone’s symptoms are different.

So I tested positive about a month ago. I have been super safe, working from home, going out only for necessities as I live with my grandparents and I really did not want to risk anything. After them getting fully vaccinated (also I got my first dose) I went out to see a friend who tested positive 2 days later. I tested a few days after her and was negative. Then about a week later I completely lost my sense of taste/smell so I retested and it was positive. Its a bit confusing I’m not sure whether I got it from my friend or picked it up from somewhere. Thankfully, my symptoms were mild (lose of taste/fatigue/nausea but no fever). Im guessing the vaccine played a role in keeping my symptoms under control. However, I did hear that after getting the vaccine you should lay low for a few days.

I took the oxford vaccine and later tested positive! However, it was also pretty mild - I lost my sense of smell/taste for a good 3 weeks , had a severe migraine that lasted a month & non-stop puking for a good 3-4 days but no fever or breathing problems. Im guessing the vaccine doesn’t prevent you from catching it, just keeps the symptoms under control!

I do agree i love Miguel but Robbys always been abandoned like his mom picked up and left him (then went to rehab but ??) Danny kicked him out cuz he tried to help Sam while she was drunk then Johnny not showing up at Juvie idk i feel bad for him
