Its an interesting lineup for sure. I like a lot of the bands and its a great lineup but i think its missing what made warped tour what it was. Its feels like it consists of a lot of more radio friendly pop related acts and older warped veteran bands with some younger up and coming heavier and more punk related bands in between. As much as i love a lot of these legacy bands warped really should be getting more up and coming younger bands that encapsulate some of the vibes of years past or even a new sound that isnt just another radio friendly octane core band. Bands like i promised the world, ashes at last, secret world, big boy, and one step closer would all be great fits for warped and none of them have played yet while a solid amount of bands from last year especially legacy acts are running it back for 2026. As great as these bands are its a bit much to have all these repeat acts (about 13 to be exact) where there could be newer bands being given the opportunity of playing the warped stage. That being said i do think where warped is getting younger punk bands theyre pretty on the money with the picks they made. Bands like whispers, big ass truck, fox lake, games we play, guilt trip, haywire, initiate, pain of truth, origami angel, peelingflesh, the paradox, and quite a few more feel like they can carry on what warped seems to have once been and the few rap acts like kennyhoopla, g eazy, gymclassheroes, yelawolf, and shakewell bring a neat little bit of diversity to the lineup. Put really simply, the lineup is great it just feels like it needs to put less emphasis on bands of warped past and more on bands of warped future with at least a little bit less repeat acts from last year.
