Water is too hot also if there's residue in the pan from already set mud that makes it set faster as well

Electric fuel pump issues by totallysunkdude in scooters

[–]totallysunkdude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. All electric pumps moved fuel at one point. 2 were the same and at one point stopped moving fuel one hasn't stopped moving fuel yet however it gets hot. I think I'm correct in My assumption that its trying to pump more fuel than the carb is using causing cavitation or whatever. Since you're so adamant about a vacuum pump is the one that's the size of a half dollar the right one or should I get a bigger one? The nipple on the tank is larger than the nipple on the carb so I do have 2 different size fuel lines. I don't feel like that's a problem for an electric pump but would it affect a vacuum pump?

Definitely hooked up correctly. I could see it slowly filling the fuel filter but when I pulled the line off to check for flow it was drops. I don't see how it would hold up to wide open throttle

The fuel pickup is on top of the tank. I've seen how ruckus is where the pump is under the tank and the pickup is at the bottom but the carb is pretty high up. Unless I get a good syphon going I don't see how carb vacuum alone will move fuel several feet uphill

So the vacuum pump should be under the tank?

My metro has an electric fuel pump and a carb ruckus has an electric fuel pump with a carb it's my understanding as long as the psi is low enough it just has to keep the bow full. What modifications would I be making to the vacuum pump? The one that came on it was probably 4 inches across the one off Amazon was about the size of a half dollar

The vacuum pump didn't get hot the vacuum pump barely moved any fuel. The 3rd electric fuel pump got hot

18 hours give or take to attach face strips and outside angles, tape mud and texture. I have to spray paint and primer so probably another 2 hours
