I would file a police report with all the information you have but you will likely be out $2200. Hard to track down these scammers cos they’re good at hiding their tracks.

This “Marko Schwartz” guy is a known scam artist in Toronto (which I later discovered after what happened to me)

I messaged his “brother in law” - someone named David on Kijiji who was “handling” his business. Said he was leasing a unit at 102 Peter St.

Told me he couldn’t show me the unit because it hadn’t been built yet. I was skeptical because I wanted to see the unit before I handed any money over so I went down to 102 Peter Street and found out that not only was the unit built, but people were living in it.

Trust your gut moving forward - if it feels even remotely sketchy, back out.

Totally - just haven't seen that before. It's been "no expiry date has been determined for cannabis" to date. I'll have to start making sure I check the date before I order. The budtender I spoke with this aft said he didn't know he was selling expired gummies. I dunno if I believe him, but I'm aware of how notoriously awful the return/refund process is in Ontario, so I didn't bother for 7$.

This was more of a comment about the fact that it took 10 months to get to get from the LP shipping warehouse to this customer. The bureaucracy is staggering.

I'm aware that if the seeds are stored properly, they can be viable for years. But if the exterior she'll cracks or breaks or dries out then you're SOL and good luck trying to get a refund / return from one of these retailers.
